I have to admit I HATE the number of casual magic items that appear in the average fantasy game, D20 being the worst. The amount of magic is being reinforced by the rules and the treasure chart. They are just 'power ups' of the video game nature. They don't add anything to the game except requiring bigger and badder bad guys.

It looks like an ordinary parchment map, until it speaks to you. It says, 'I know where you need to go to find what you are looking for.' From there, the adventure begins.

The point of the submission is quite simple: man vs nature is a common conflict in fiction, but not so much in gaming, this submission is a step to correct that.

The First Men buried their Kings and 'Big People' (Nobles and other Important people) in underhills - tombs made under hills of earth called Barrows. While this custom seems quite common, the First Men were not. The First Men were closer to The Mythics - The Shidhe (Elves) and Dwarves - and The True Dreaming Magics than Modern Men. Thus entering their barrows means you are entering a different world and time.

The Sleeping King is a near mythic figure that has a presence in real history. Originally called the Lost King, he came from a Land to the East where he had been a King. He left his Land because he felt he had failed his people ( the details are vague upon this point). He arrived here to discover a land under the boot of Merideth the Great. He vowed that, 'All people shall be free to live as they need to live. No one should live as a slave to a man or fear!' Thus he began to lead. From a small band came The Six Armies Who Were One. Upon the final assault on Merideth, he brought freedom to The Six Lands. Then left, vowing to return if needed.

It is a box of fairly standard children's toys. There are dolls, blocks, carved knights and animals. Everyone will think, 'Oh I had one of those when I was young.'

The district gets its name by the good sized walls that are painted a bright blue that mark the magic district. That wall is watched by the Witchhunter guard.

The Order of the Dry Bones is an order dedicated to the Destruction of Great Evils. They are the hands of a secret cabal dedicated to destroying Great Evils.

Despite the name, no metal working is currently done here. It is a restaurant of some repute.

Cheza Betaze is the 17th Nekron urban area found in the Northern Cascades. The reasons why it is the best known of all Nekron cavern cities is that is has an easily accessible surface entrance/ exit which is just off the main Cascade trade trails. Being of recent construction in a time of prosperity, it is a city the Nekron feel proud off.
