To the primitive tribes on the plains of North, life changes rapidly from season to season. In summer, food is abundant. In the winter, death from starving is never far. A natural phenomenon helped one such tribe.

Thinking about my game world and what should happen in it in the not so close future, I came to a simple decision: WAR. This is an article on the topic of war.

A place to ponder, to be pleased to be alive, to accept suffering, and to realize your mistakes. This is a place I could learn from."

Traps need to make sense. Somebody must of made it for a specific purpose.

These are the items magic-users and alchymists would be really creating: minor, useful, and easy to sell.

What kind of interesting Afterlife(s) do the people have in your game world(s), whether they believe in it or for real? Is there hell(s), or paradise(s), or something in-between? What happens when people die?

Magical implements that trap the unwary.

Still, lucky are those eaten by the hordes, some fools get deeper and their very souls are consumed by the nameless horrors that lurk in some hidden spots. And still more serve as new material for the Necromancers, the only living creatures there, as they say at least...

When want and famine stalk the land, a strange tower of ashes appears in the village common, a tower holding the sacrifices of the unworthy. Those who have the courage may reclaim these treasures...

Many traps are not designed to kill or maim, but more to disgust or annoy, or even to put a smile on the victim's face... this is a scroll of such traps.
