Does your character use the longbow? Here are some ideas to make the use of the longbow more realistic and more fun. It doesn't have to be just another weapon. The longbow is a specialized weapon with many characteristics that make it unique and fun to role play with.

In time long past the Citadel was new and innocent. As the years went on much was added to include the ability to vote and comment. Ever since then there has been prosperous periods where the votes and comments were just a tool and the Horde was happy. The victim, in many cases the PC, is known as the mark and is the target of whatever kind of hustle they have planned. These hustlers are always on the lookout for easy pickings.

A weapon with multiple personalities. Always a chance you can get the one you want, always a chance you won’t. Once drawn will you be able to wield it? Will you be able to use the powers and knowledge or will you be swept away by the needs and wants of this intelligent item?

I am always looking for rank structures to use in games. It is my hope that you will share some of your historical knowledge or ranks and/or reveal to us the hierarchy of ranks in the games that you play.

Sometimes a roadblock is there for a reason. There are some places you don't want to be after sundown.

As long as any can remember, these certain paths allowed one to travel up to and over 20 extra miles a day by using them. One moment one was deep along a small trail, the next he would find himself 20 or more miles farther down the path without realizing it. All was fine until recently. Reports returned talking of the failure of these areas which revealed miles of ancient paths. The protection hiding them has finally failed. Will it release monsters of ages past or reveal magic of unknown worth?

The crown of King Lorin has been stolen! Upon leaving the city the players are searched and the crown is found in their possession. They plead their innocence and are given a task, that task leads to another, and to another?

Treasure is both the bane and boon of gaming campaigns. The purpose of all this was to bring up some more obvious, but often overlooked, types of treasure. The focus too often is on gold, gems, and magic items when the fun could be enriched by recognizing some awkward, but just as valuable, alternate items. Don’t pass up that ornately carved throne gathering dust in the lair of ogres. Don’t pass up that odd colored flower that your character has never seen. Take it all with you. You never know what you might get for it.

The job of a lifetime. The King's very own Security Advisor has redesigned the security of the armoury and has chosen the PC's to give it a test run. If they break in and out, they will win much respect. If they fail, then they simply prove the armoury security is unbreakable. Can't lose, until after the 'test' break-in the armoury really is broken into and the most valuable weapons of the kingdom are now missing...and the PC's are the prime suspects.

While in a deep forest a fairy will take a liking to one of the players.
