There is a thematic element of the student spending time isolated in the wild, free from distraction and civilization, and they hone their skill. Now these are almost always swordsmen or mystics who sit under waterfalls for days at a time.

The DungeonVerse is at it's heart, a simple exercise in creating dungeons for endless hack and slash adventuring, with the human details on the surface webbing things together, rather than being the driving force of the narrative.
