The characters are unwittingly embroiled in a rebel organisation, and must lead the Black Shield fighters to victory against the evil Halar, seeking out new hideouts, rescuing people from towns and generally doing what Robin Hood would have done in their situation.

The PCs find themselves on a diplomatic mission, to return the Statue of Helce to the country from whom it was stolen long ago. They soon find themselves tied up in conspiracy, guerilla warfare and a surprising amount of molten rock...

This looks like an elaborately fashioned wooden egg-cup, but it is a powerful magical tool, used mainly by witches to conjure up spirits and familiars.
