Torch Spider By: Mourngrymn
There! Did you see it that time? I swear someone is following us. I keep seeing torchlight through the damn trees. I'm telling you, something is following us. Thom, your either seeing things or drinking to much. There is no one following us. See look . . . wait, they look . . . they look like spiders but they are on fire! - Last words of Micha, Traveller and Explorer. |

Mesopotamian Mythology By: Mourngrymn
One thing that has been stressed over and over on this site is that fantasy can emulate reality. There are so many different real world events that can be transformed into gaming material that one should literally never run out of new content. |

Breast of Bedlam By: Mourngrymn
This item has been moved about the lands throughout the ages, lost and found by various people. Always it seems that the unsuspecting are the usual and unfortunate ones to find them. It is vague but throughout history events of misfortune and chaotic nature seem to follow in the path of this item, sowing the seeds of disorder and discord. However it is when all four of these set items are found and placed together, does anarchy truly reign. |

Blood Chalice By: Mourngrymn
'Malghoul Etra Galad Morta, Malghoul Etra Galad Morta!' This booming chant repeats itself over and over; I clutch my head wishing it to end. Physically it doesn't cause me pain, but my brain seems to want to explode from some unseen pressure. Wait something is happening, the bloodied mist has finally settled and I feel refreshed from my hard days. I wonder what this bloodied chalice has in store for me. -Torren Wayhon, Adventurer, lost soul |

Coward's Lot, the Bow of Caldwell By: Mourngrymn
This item is not listed in many tombs of magic, nor is it detailed in any text books among the arcane. It is however sung about in many a tavern and bar across the coastal cities. The tale is sung more about the man who created it. His tale has been embellished time and again until he seemed more a god than the coward that he was. |

New Order of Wolvenar By: Mourngrymn
This is a template I put together for a friend of mine while we played palladium Fantasy. Our campaign lasted well nearly seven years which had world shattering and altering events which led to the rise and fall of many religions as well as religions altering their view and edicts. This was what transpired from one of those changes. |

Sleep Stalker By: Mourngrymn
Page 589, cat. Air Elementals, sub. Stalkers Placing wards of cow tongues and sheep blood around doors and windows is said to scare off the proddings of stalkers. Many tales and childrens stories tell of the silent stalker that enters the cracked window or unlocked door in the dead of night to steal the breath from a sleeping child. Crib deaths are often blamed on this silent stalker even though it is not true. -Essay on elementals, subsection Stalkers. |

Band of Hadokk By: Mourngrymn
My fellow councilor’s, the entire watch was assassinated by the Arch-Duke of Torr wanting to open up a hole in the defense of the city. His intent was obviously to try and make it easier for him to conquer us. But ser, how do we know for sure that you are right in your assumptions? After all you just recently arrived to the city and were unaware of the murders until we spoke of it here. Ser! That is because I am a genius and you are not. - Ser Marcus Hadokk, self proclaimed genius. |

Static Light Drives By: Mourngrymn
What is static light travel you may ask? A point to point form of traveling instantly through space. Traveling faster than the speed of light is virtually impossible. In order to travel faster than light, you would be traveling faster than time which means that the place you are trying to travel too is not the place you want to go. Or, not the same time you want to go to. Where time travel is possible, faster than light is not without its issues. The static light drive fixes that. -Proffessor Anette Othies |

The Four Faces of Ishchali By: Mourngrymn
Ishchali has been known by many names, but Caedmon is what he is most widely known for on Hewdamia. His name means many faced, or four face and he is represented by his four different personalities. Most of his past is shrouded in mystery, his many names and faces represent the multi faceted nature of this divine being. Each facet, each face has a different personality and each has its own place and purpose in his plans for the future of Hewdamia, and all those that call him Master. |

The Jongleurs Sanguine By: Mourngrymn
Death is an art form. Where can a single act that is repeated by every single life at least once in their lifetime and have multiple emotions involved in each one. I relate this in a similar manner as a dramatic play. You look into the audience at the height of the emotional act and you see ranges of emotion from everyone. I experience this every time I watch the eyes of a guasto widen and become cold to look at. You should witness this yourself, to understand your own immortality and how to overcome it. Look into the mirror as your life trickles away and the truth will be revealed. - Janus Sanguine High Priest of the Jongleurs Sanguine |

Theater of Confused Arts By: Mourngrymn
This is a novelty among the population and visitors alike. It is a freeform entertainment where those in the audience have the opportunity to get up on the stage and be an actor for the night. This has brought many would be actors who are trying to get hired by practicing their skills here. Entrance fees are larger than average but the entertainment is well worth it. |

Orick By: Mourngrymn
The camp was eerily quiet this evening. The fire itself seemed nervous enough not to crackle; the wind seemed too scared to whistle. These treks into the Blade Peaks always worry me, what am I doing here? I find myself asking that very questions even during the day time now, not just during the night. Tales of rangers heading into the peaks and not returning were always common, what worries me is that myself and the group of rangers are heading into these blasted mountains in search for one such group. How my life would be much better had I not learned the truth. The Oricks are here, small brutish little bastards for true, but ruthless and uncaring. I just want to return home. Wait, a sound in the darkness. A scrap? A grunt? oh no they are here! - Ranger Arkisa, Last journal entry, |

Gretalia By: Mourngrymn
As we viewed the island from afar, I knew we would be forced to land there. Our hull was breached and we are taking on water rapidly. My hope of us making the island is grim, but I keep a face up for the crew. The rumors every sailor has heard of this dreadful place makes even the stoutest sailer make water. We shall see. -Captain Edver Brakuars, Second to Last Journal Entry. |

Jotun By: Mourngrymn
Out of the three giants I am hunting the jotun have been the most aloof. It seems like they stay out of my sight for a reason. Who knows. I will track them down as i have the others to gain their knowledge. Damn, even the surtur were not this hard. Wait, I hear a noise, a drum perhaps… I will follow to see if I can find the jotun. -Aergais, Sage, Traveler, Historian. His last entry. |

Surtur By: Mourngrymn
The hot sun was murder to my pale skin. I didn’t realize how harsh it would be, after all I read about the harshness of the burning sands who would have known that the tombs would be an understatement? I left my Lemiean guids yesterday, they refused to travel where I required to go. They are fearful of the Surtur, and frankly if what they tell me is true, I do not blame them. We will see. -Aergais, Sage, Traveler, Historian |

Aegir By: Mourngrymn
From afar I hailed the large man in the dialect of the keirn, thinking him to be friendly. To my surprize, the closer I walked to his large boat, the alrger he became, until he towered over my small frame. His frightning size and pose did little to hide his friendly face and then I knew, that I had found the Aegir. -Aergais, Sage, Traveler, Historian |
