Giant River Wyrm By: Cheka Man
The warrior flung himself to one side as a huge toothy head leapt out of the pool in front of him, gnashed at him and then withdrew "What is that thing?" "A Giant River Wyrm, and it's a good thing that they sicken so quickly, or you would have been wyrm food." |

River Dragons By: ephemeralstability
The River Dragons are a beautiful, sleek race. Their irridescent scales are soft and almost invisible under a fast-racing current. As long as a long riverboat, they propel themselves upstream with occasional flaps of their powerful wings. |

Water Dragon By: Cheka Man
The roar of the dragon echoed through the cave, causing the knights to stumble back in fear. 'Don't worry,' said the mage who was with them. 'It's a water dragon, and from the state of the river outside, it is in poor health. It's just trying to scare us.' |

Giant Urchin By: Cheka Man
Twisted and cave-filled are many of the coastlines of Acqua, scoured by the mighty waves and sucking currants and tides. If you are not careful when approaching one of these caves, you might well not be able to dodge in time as one or more spines spring out at you. |

Condori Dragonlings By: MoonHunter
The fishing was good, but everyone else was wary. These were Condori waters. ... The crew was pulling up a net when it happened. The claws first appeared on the railing. Golden eyes preceeded the broad snout. Gregus grabbed a pole and advanced upon it. The creature spat at him, covering his face in a green slime. He fell and screamed. The creature looked at all of us slowly and deliberately. Assured that we were no threat, it simply stretched over a bit farther.. secured the huge tuna we had just pulled in with its maw, and slid back over the side. We were in its waters. It only wanted its due. ..... Gregus died the next day of a terrible fever and strictures. His face had been scared and develope terrible white sores. Our limited magics were no avail to stop it. We decided to secure the body in a case and return it to the see when we left these waters. |

Aegir By: Mourngrymn
From afar I hailed the large man in the dialect of the keirn, thinking him to be friendly. To my surprize, the closer I walked to his large boat, the alrger he became, until he towered over my small frame. His frightning size and pose did little to hide his friendly face and then I knew, that I had found the Aegir. -Aergais, Sage, Traveler, Historian |
