The second era started off in better light than the 1st era ended. For almost 500 years there was a rebuilding going on with the Gison, continued growth for the Olwynn, and understanding with the Derevo about the different factions in their families. Like all things, this time had come to and end.

Located at the mouth of the River Vella, Venkis has a commanding view of the Bay of Pearls. On clear nights, occasionally the lights from Stormgarde can be seen across the bay. Venkis is the major shipping port for the kingdom and deals with most of the navel aspect of the military.
Located in the northern most tip of the kingdom, it stands strong vigil over the mountain passes to the north and the sea passage to the west. Stormgarde, while a fairly good sized port, tends to be modestly populated city.

Located near the lush banks of the River Aloma, it is home to many of the most skills trackers and hunters in the region. This modestly sized town has a rather large standing militia due to the fact is it so close to the mountains and in such a hostile area.

So they altered it, thinking the mortals were not clever enough to find a way to use it again. The God’s crystalized the magic and placed the power in the four elements of the world. Now mortals did indeed determine a way to use magic again, albeit at a much lower proficiency. Magic users now require a focus staff made of the very essence of magic. These crystal staves store the mystical energies required to cast spells, needing to be recharged over time. The magic users scribe, etch, or carve the spells symbols directly on the staves and focus the energy through the symbols.
A bastian of hope in a place of hardened souls. With enemies at one point surounding the entire country, the citizens of Kerrabar stood strong and fought their way to independence and proceeded to expand and push back the dark horde that rose against their small nation.
Located on the western banks of Meer van de Sterren, or Lake of the Stars, this modestly sized city is home to Duke Tore, the King’s boyhood friend and most loyal subject. A harbor for the island city that houses the Blackrose Academy.
Located in the southern part of the Kingdom of Kerrabar, Aadda is the strong arm that never tires. While the land to their north-east is fertile and supplies the city with the food that they need, most of the land to the south is useless and dangerous.
Choke horrors are nightmarish creatures that give the most knowledgeable and adventurous pause. They are tall gangly bipedal creatures that have four whip like appendages instead of arms.
To kill a Unicorn is to bring bad luck and the hatred of nature itself down upon the foolish. It is said that the mate of a unicorn that is murdered will turn horrible in it’s pain and anger, turning against nature to hunt and kill the murderer of it’s mate. It turns dark and soulless and seeks nothing but the death of it’s enemy.
Deep within the cold northern ranges live a reclusive tribe of Keirn with knowledge though long lost to the ages. The Fajro Mmang’i roam the frozen wastes with an ancient knowledge glinting in their eye.
Blood Spiders are dark brown rust color, nearly the color of dried blood and have a body that is approximately 5’ wide, not including their legs. They have a desire only for survival and are not malicious. Tell that to one of their victims.
Fedolf, the notorious headsman of Iddland, is known as much for his beheadings as for his operatic arias of doom. A tower of power, standing nearly seven feet tall, and weighing in at almost four hundred pounds, Fedolf strikes fear in all onlookers, especially when he dons his executioner's hood, and goes shirtless, wielding his gigantic double-bladed pole-axe, on his way to the headsman's block. He possesses a beautiful singing voice, and will often send off his charges into the next life, while belting out baritone dirges and antiquated arias, usually involving death, destiny, and duty, in heavy doses.
