I would appreciate if it was separated into boy names, girl names, and specified in the title that these are NPC names and not tavern names or town names.

My main argument against categorization is that it is extremely arbitrary to say what 'gender' a name is, especially with ones without cultural history.
eg. Mary.
Female of course. Why not Gary? Same ending.
eg:
Akira. Male Japanese name.
The only generic answer is not to categorize, though I have no problems with added lists being categorized, or someone organizing their own lists using the names here.
Just root through the list and find something you like :)
Well, if you don't want to divide them into genders, I would still advocate putting them in alphabetical order, to make them easier to survey.
That's fair. I'll look at doing that, though organizing multiple column tables is a bit.. tedious :)
