Moon Hunters or Moon Riders is what they were called. These wonderous and magicial dancers roamed the lands for many, many years preforming dances for kings and roality alike. Full Description
The Moon Hunters or Riders are mystical dancers of flowing magical music. Their clothes were very strange and different from what the other people wore. Sometimes their clothes would reach the ground while their tops would only cover their breasts. The objects they used were things no living mortal would have ever seen before. Strange shell, hallow objects played beautiful music that the dancers danced along to, while the others had strange crystals hanging from their clothes. But in the last tribe of Moon Hunters, they had one less dancer. This girl was the songtress of the tribe, while the others danced and played music, the girl would sing with her voice filling the hearts of others. Her clothes were very different form the ones the dancers wore. Her top showed her arms and covered the rest of her body. Her beautiful white dress reached down to her ankles, while her feet wore nothing. She carried one object with her all the time, never letting it out of her sight. From what the other dancers didn't know this was the Staff of Destiny.
Additional Information
The Moon Hunters/ Riders are very magical people. Not very many of them exist in the world of Humanity or spiritual plane. They preform dances and entertain people with their mystical music and wondrous ways of movement. But in the last performance of the last tribe, they preformed in front of a very dark creature. Within a castle of horrible and terrible magic the Moon Hunters/Riders preformed a dance of dark magic. From what the dancers didn't know the dance was to open a portal into the Darkness. The young songtress knew what the dance had to mean but her comrades wouldn't belive her. The dance was preformed and the young girl had to sing. While the dark king sat in his throne, watching them preform, a portal opened behind the dancers. Before they could do anything, the Moon Hunters were sucked in. Once the portal had closed, the dark king stood from his chair. He wondered why the young songtress was not sucked into the portal of darkness. Soon he had realised that she had possesion of the Staff of Destiny. So instead he cursed her, her voice was cursed and for her to walk the land by herself for all eternity. After she had left the castle she tried to sing, but her voice had been taken away from her. As she wondered the land she came across a strange but different place. The Holy Ground, she called it. Her tribe members figures started to appear in front of her. They spoke to the young girl telling her how sorry they were. After a few days, a creature came to her. It was the songtress of life. Though this creature too had been cursed with the same fate as the young Moon Hunter, they decided to be partners. The Songtress of Life and The Songtress of Death.
Legend
In the book of Life and Death, a person once wrote that when we are born within the womb of our mothers, we can her the Songtress of Life sing to us while over the months we become hole. But when it comes to the day we die we can hear the Songtress of Death sing to us as we pass into the second plane.
Life
Life is a very fragile thing, once you lose it thats it. Being careful with others lives, and living yours to a full extent, is the way it is suppose to be.
Death
Death is a very powerful thing. It can destroy people if you lose you're love ones. But death is not all that scary in may cases. It can bring Peace or Vanity like it has done me.

This actually is a real improvement over some of your previous submissions LK. I would go back and delete the odd characters, mostly the /'s that have popped up in the text. It is an old bug that we are still working on. Some of the paragraphs are a bit long and could stand to be broken down a bit, make it easier on the eyes, if you know what I mean. You are showing improvement, but don't give up now!
Interesting... Seems a little unfocused though.
Huh. Very interesting. Is there any possible way to, oh say, REVERSE the curse? That could make for a very interesting plotline, don't you think? A man possessed of great conviction dies, but refuses to pass into the afterlife, as he still has a quest to complete on earth. The Songstress of Death isn't too keen on this, but proposes to him something very dangerous: if he could possibly find a way to stop the curse, or kill the evil creature who caused it, she'll let him rejoin the living. Thus, the two of them (the Songstress of Life doesn't really mind her condition too much, and doesn't think it's necessary to come along) travel through the plains of Darkness, searching for the creature which placed her there. Perhaps the PC's died as well, but met the Songstress and the man along their path, and decide to use this as an opportunity to regain what they've just lost.
I like the idea of mystical dancers roaming the country side of the fringe of society, it has very celtic-fairy-folk feel about it. But for all the stuff you have going here, you fail develop any of it. The narrative and the idea have no personality other broad strokes of victim and predator. Also, the Staff of Destiny, even in a short narrative such as yours, I feel a little cheated when a proper noun item turns that turns out to be game changer was only mentioned asides.
