Elainuk: Parna's Dark Elf Assassin

This obsidian beauty has achieved the peak of infamy among the handful of ruthless merchants, fallen priests and malcontent nobles that make up Parna's Shadow Court. Elainuk's kills are so masterfully subtle that even those that paid for the execution question whether or not the death was result of murder or an accident. The Game Warden of the lower Hearnt took an arrow in the back of the head from his brother's bow, and Elainuk received 30 pieces of silver and a stack of poached furs. The miller of DeadOgre Ferry was sweeping the grind stone of his windmill in plain sight of two priests when he knocked the locking pin free, and was crushed by a rolling mill stone. Elainuk received 50 silver pieces, and a cask of brandy. There has never even been a rumor of dark elf being present during these deaths. She has only been seen in the most wretched corners of Parna, and only then when accepting payment or seducing one of her many masculine conquests.

Little Bobby Bobblecork was sent to gather savory shelf mushrooms along the rocky banks of the Tillatook creek when a Drow enchantress snatched him. The enchantress carried him into the underdark where she taught him how to weave magic in the minds of others, and spin manna into false images. This was not because she wished to better Bobby, but because she was a busy sorceress and needed a servant who understood the arcane. When he was his not carrying out the whims of his mistress, he would be passed to her brothers for their perverse amusements. Then Bobby was abandoned in the caves. He did not know where the Drow went or why, only that they no longer wanted him.

While Bobby was being tormented beneath the earth the great tragedy of the Nili sea occurred, and a demon of Eminster took up resident among the hobbit hills. The sun refuses to look upon the demon, and Pedstand and all the shires are covered in darkness. Bobby fled from the blackness, and headed east to Parna. There he found many surviving hobbits living shameful desperate lives among the humans as beggars and refugees.

Bobby was now a master of illusion and enchanting. In order hide his hobbit nature, he wrote a spell that made him appear as a beautiful ivory haired dark elf: Elainuk. In order to eat Elainuk sold first herself, and then her skills. She uses her magic to weave elaborate traps for her victims. She will spend days watching her target, and then use her magic to engineer an accident.

Elainuk is efficient, but her targets are often of the trade classes or minor nobility. She prefers to kill simple people. She finds hobbits disgusting.
