Freya, Assassin
Freya is very tall and thin, you would know her if you saw her, for her eyes are shining from within. her face beautifully adorned teeth razor sharp; her clothes of the softest silk and her voice as soft as a harp. She sways her head from side to side, with movements like a snake; And when you think she's half asleep, she's really wide awake!
Freya is a slight girlish figure with a young, clean-shaven, semi-androgynous face, high cheekbones, and exotic almond shaped eyes which rarely blink or alter their cold cybernetic gaze. The tips of long, thin, lynx-like ears poke through the chin-length metallic blue bangs. She has the strong upper body build of a gymnast or swimmer and the smooth careful cat-like movements of a trained martial artist.
Freya has expensive and refined tastes when it comes to belongings. Clothes are always the best that her Cred can buy, not necessarily the current vogue so much as her particular style of dark, subdued colors and simple, clean lines -- with a definite gothic/industrial slant. The same is applied to her gear. SOTA, heavily customized, and minimalist -- stripped of everything but the features she uses.
Fastidious, meticulous, and precise, Freya is greatly bothered by messy environments, and keeps herself and her homes impeccably clean and neatly organized. If she could she would have Makeover spell-locked onto her.
Freya is a self-assured (to the point of overconfidence), stylish, hedonist driven to assassin work by a dangerous combination of excitement and curiosity. She constantly pushes her limits to see what she can and cannot do and loves pulling off challenging kills with the maximum amount of self-involvement using improvised weapons she acquires at the scene of the kill .
She suffers from a mild case of obsessive-compulsive disorder and does not feel comfortable unless she is in control of herself and her situation. She also obsesses with personal hygiene to a certain extent, attempting to keep an immaculate appearance at all times and going out of her way to turn heads and draw attention to her beauty and sex appeal.
Freya lives by a personal code that excludes the harming of innocent women or children. She will not stand idly by and watch a woman or a child in trouble. She is loyal to her companions, provided she respects them. That respect is earned by a combination of professionalism and an outlook that agrees with her own in the world.
Her driving curiosity has made every area of study she comes across of interest to her and she spends a considerable amount of time learning and refining her skills both old and new. Money to her is simply a means to an end, which she uses to satisfy her hedonism, her sense of style, her curiosity and urge to learn, and her sense of professionalism.
Freya has a dangerous habit of getting personally and romantically involved with the people she works with. Rather than abstract a situation, she personalizes it and empathizes with specific individuals. Everyone else is simply another target, another paycheck to her. For those individuals that are a part of her life she is willing to go to great lengths to aid and help. She thinks nothing of spending money on other people, particularly individuals that have impressed her in one way or another.

Nice addition of a modern/sci fi assassin in a field of fantasy ones,just a hint more of setting and possibly weapons(something exotic would be a nice touch) would be in order, This is tuff to do when you are working with only 500 words , I vote on two things primarily, usefulness and secondly artistry , This one gets good grades on usefulnes but very high marks on artistry, Of all the assassins submitted so far, this one is the one I can most see in my minds eye. 4/5
Truth be told assassins aren't really my gig, but this one was originally a coffee stained NPC print out from my old Gm binder, I thought she would work well for the 500 word sub and manged to coerce Silvy into helping make it so. (Never you mind how! :P)
Her original assassin tools were improvised weapons from her surroundings she would use to make a kill up close and from an unexpected angle/way. Unfortunately the 500 word limit axed the assassination of a CEO with a soup spoon vignette and more of her background of why she became an assassin.
Fun challenge tho, looking forward to the next one!
Another wickedly cultured femme fatale, the write up is clear, concise and give you clear idea of everything about her except what is it like to talk with her or her personal history (which I think in this case is not important).
I can imagine her OCD and desire for finer things extending to social situations as well. A gruff flippant ironicly dressed punk rocker heckling the models on the run way at a fashion show may really get under her skin.
I think if I were using her in a story or as GM she would be very accessible to the players, she does not offer us a lot of surprises, which is often handy for secondary characters.

Well written, and solid character. I would be fine with using her plug-n-play in just about any modern or futuristic game. I like the OCD aspect, which would be the main place where I would make things fun if she was being used as a pregen, or the players would be exploiting.
The PCs discover that none of the marks were killed in the squalor of the streets, or in loud chaotic places. They were all killed in safe houses, in transit vehicles, under police custody, and otherwise meticulously cared for.
That tiny change made a huge difference in how I view this sub The 4.5/5 now is for a total package not just the great style you've got going here. The improvised weapon thing just makes this truly outstanding.Right now you have got my vote for winning entry .
For me (if I had to vote on the winner for the 500 word assassin challenge), I would pick either this or Dozus' sub. I liked Dozus' sub because of the background of double worship whereas this is definitely more character centred. Good work.
