The Star of Breezes
By: Nobody

There is always a cool breeze blowing through the room that has this simple table decoration. The Star of Breezes is an item that complements Siren no Orakio’s Item submission “Shards of the Storm”. This is a quest submission.

Full Item Description
This simple Table decoration is made from simple bronze. It is in the shape of a geometric star, and stands up on any flat surface.

History
As the blacksmiths anvil beat down in it’s repeating motions, sparks flew during the forging process of Thunderheart, a legendary item forged with one of the Shards of the Storm. Sparks are actually red hot pieces of metal that are scattered on the ground. After the forging of Thunderheart, the floor was swept, and the metal was recycled and recast into many small objects and trinkets.

The Star of breezes is one such item.
Magic Properties

This decorative ornament has the smallest fraction of a Shard of the Storm inside it. This fraction is always trying to cause chaotic effects in nature, however it is only powerful enough to create a light breeze.

When this ornament is put on a table, a light breeze stirs through the room, even if that room would normally be very stagnated.

The ruling family depends on some magical artifact or place to secure their right to rule. A monarch isn't considered legitimate until he or she has been "accepted" by the artifact or place, whatever that might entail. It is also possible that some one else, not of the ruling family, could be accepted as the legitimate heir... A fact which the monarchs would like to keep secret.
