The Braclet of Salinin

Made on Salinin, by the Dark Elves who sought some power in World Affairs, it was never meant to leave the island, but that was it's fate. It left on the wrist of a lord to the Eastern Jungles and there it is.
The great enemy of the Salinin were the Kasmir, who challenged their magic against Salinin Blades. But the Salinin were always being drove off, by the powerful magic of the Kasmir, and so in secret the Salinin made their own magic.
The Braclet of Salinin would make any person's body resitant to magic, but it also absorbed it and the wielder could use the magic it saved up against a person. It was made of black coral with a diamond honed onto the top, making it expensive to make.
Xavier Kinslayer was an ally of the Salinin, for they like him was an outcast of all races, so he did the magical abilities to the braclet, having some insight as to what would happen when the Kasmir and Salinin would meet in combat, he had no thought that anyone would be able to get it.
With their great ships, the Salinin went to the Eastern Jungles and there battled the magical armies of Kasmir, it was a defeat for both, for the wielder, at that time Aiden Hakenith, the Lord of Salinin, was unable to be brought down by the Kasmir, and the Salinin were unable to kill the Kasmir Lord. So both armies fell, and the Kasmir Duke and Salinin Lord killed each other, both with a sword in the chest that was their own.
The place of the battlefield became the Swamp of the East, and the braclet now waits on the bottom of the water, on a skeleton's wrist to be found and used, for it still harnesses the magic used against it.
The Salinin and Kasmir mourned the loss of their leaders, but the Salinin mourned it more, they had lost their adventage against the Kasmir and were now fearing invasion from Kasmir, but it never came.
The Kasmir, who were arrogant of their skills with magic thought themselves better then the gods in magic and the Gods could take no more, they destroyed the Kasmir and left no Kasmir alive. The Salinin rejoiced, and planning on taking the lands of the Kasmir found another new threat.
The Dejy of the Eastern Jungles, who had been slaves under the Kasmir, guarded the Eastern Jungles, and they would not let the Salinin in and so the Salinin gave up hope of having an empire and there they stay on their island brooding over the past
Magical Properties:
The Braclet of Salinin will make the person resistant to magic, and it also absorbes the magic and harnesses it in the Braclet, so the wielder may use it against a person or thing.

I like the idea of the item, although it's definitely something I have seen before. I also like how you put in a rather extensive history. One thing I would say, however, is that the history does not read smoothly, but is very choppy and harder to follow than it should be.
Again, I realize this is very old but needs to be dusted off. It has promise but I dont know where it is. It is very choppy and sporatic to read as Zyl said. It sounds to me like it can be a good post but tehre are more negatives to it than positives.
Fix the spelling/ grammar/ and sentence structure and it would remarkably be better.
