Quest - Kaiju and Giant Monsters
Scrasamax has thrown down the gauntlet of challenge at the Citadel.
I want to see Kaiju, or giant frakking monsters contest. Godzilla, Mothra, Mechagodzilla (which was built from the bones of the first Godzilla, according to canon) The monsters of the week fought by the last 12 years of the different incarnations of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, blown up to their giant size. Monsters can be born of radiation, beasts from another dimension, created by man (evangelion!) brought to earth by aliens, or any other possible explanation you can come up with. The only limitation: it has to be alive. No giant robots, no elementals, no constructs of energy. It's got to be flesh and blood.
And this doesn't just have to be the giant monster angle.
Plots on fighting the monsters, societies that worship the KAIJU or government agencies that track and hunt the massive beasts, scientists who are dedicated kaijuologists, kaiju conspiracy theorists, mega-weapons designed to fight the megamonsters, and the like.
Release the KAIJU!

AHHHH!!! It's the Moon Hunter!!! Run Away!!!
The Qualm is a giant mass of tentacles and leaves with hundreds of mouth-like pods lined with teeth. It is about 1/8 of the size of Earth's moon, and it travels through space looking for nutrient rich planets that it can suck dry.
The sun rises over the city. The great skyscraper's silhouettes from the fresh beams appear almost golden. The city is waking up, with the morning's half asleep citizens going about their daily routines. Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts open up, and revel in the influx of business. People head to work. The clocktower chimes, signaling the time of 9:00. But then a great shadow blocks out the sun. And the citizens of this metropolis start to scream as they are lifted up bodily by these beasts. An hour full of terror and screams goes by. And then another. And when the clocktower chimes again, signaling the time of 11:00, no one heard it. They had all been carried away. There were no flaming wrecks, nor collapsed buildings, as any other giant monster would leave. Simply empty streets, and a forbidding silence.
Also known as "The Ravager," Chimera Prototype Mk-XXIII is an example of man's hubris. What was supposed to benefit the last bastions of wealth and power in a dying world has become an unstoppable force of destruction.
All you need to stop a brain is a bullet.
In the years before the advent of arcanotechnology and dimensional fatigue events, teratology was the study of abnormalities and biological deformations. In the wake of the second renaissance, it became the study of exomorphs, extradimensional entities, and most prominently, teratomorphs, more commonly and vulgarly known as kaiju.
