A small community of Gnomes who love to make daily life easier have started to produce this ShortBow. When viewed normally it seems to be a well crafted ShortBow made of a reddish wood. When much closer look is taken you can notice that the bow has three strings, side by side. You can fire the bow using one, two, or three strings with no penalty… except for the magical effects.

If someone who does not know the bow has three strings tries to fire an arrow

Roll a 100 sided die or a Percential die:
results-
  1 - 2 Only first string is pulled.
  3 - 4 Only second string is pulled.
  5 - 8 Only third string is pulled.
9 - 13 First and second strings are pulled.
14 - 18 Second and third string are pulled.
19 - 100 All three strings are pulled.

Magical Properties:

Magic for each string or strings:

String one- The arrow flies normally until it strikes something. Then the end of a rope appears at the feet of the bows user. the other end of the rope is stuck where the arrow hit (very well).

String two- The arrow turns into a ball of light (Lights a 20ft radius) and heads north for a few days.

String three- The arrow flies at the ground 10ft in front of the bow user and creates a hole (5 cubic ft).

Strings one and two- The arrow turns into five arrows that all attack different targets using the same attack bonus.

Strings two and three- The arrow becomes invisible when pulled back. Prevents any attempt to dodge using sight.

All strings- The arrow fires as it normally would.

p.s. - the bow may have other different abilities as well but these are the typical ones.
