Gloves of Immaculate Grooming
By: CirrusWind

These magical gloves will make sure your fancy suit isn’t ruined by the odd stain or spill.

These appear to be an ordinary set of suprisingly clean white gloves.

Magical Properties:

When put on they allow the wearer to instantly remove any stain from their clothing just by running your hand over it.  Doing so leaves no mark on the gloves.  Running your fingers through your hair wit the gloves on will leave you with a “just come from the barber” look.  Popular amoung the upper classes and a must have at formal dinners.  After time the enchantment will wear off and the gloves will instantly bear the wear and tear they have endured over the years.

I really like these seemingly mundane magic items.

A favorite of assassins as well. What better to remove any blood spatter from a kill on your clothing and put yourself back into a perfectly presentable state. Also remove the telltale blood area on the victim if you wish to try and hide the act for those few extra precious seconds. Not to mention remove and muddy/bloody footprints. Do they clean metal? hmmm

Does the enchantment wear off gradually or suddenly? Could be very embarassing if the owner didnt pay attention to his warranty. "Good grief. What have you done to these gloves? Paint, what appears to be gravy... is that lipstick?"

Don't forget getting rid of those incriminating notes and plans. Just wipe the paper and Presto! Could rather inconvienient, and maybe illegal to own them, in countries useing paper money.

Why stop at gloves? Larger versions could prove just as useful as the gloves. Like a travelling cloak, always appear at your destination looking fresh, or a saddle blanket, never worry about grooming your horse, not to mention the multiple versions that could find use in a house of ill repute. >:)

Heh-heh-heh.
I can see some sort of medieval infomercial:

"And if you buy now, we'll throw in this pair of Gloves of Immaculate Grooming, at a 100 gold piece value, absolutely free!"

I do wonder what would happen with your hair......

Just ran my gloves thru my hair.

Ten minutes later, the magic disappears from the gloves and my hair jumps right back to the bathered look it had beacause of the long ride I had.....

In truth, the original gloves upon which these were modeled where the Hands of Order, stolen ironically from a long dead god of Law. The touch of the glove would remove chaos from that touched, taking them from unorganized and primitive to ordered. The touch is especially baneful to beings of chaos and entrophy, but nothing is unscathed by prolonged contact.
