Everyoung
Magical energies abound in the land around the Pit of Infren and Last Stand. Magical mining towns would abound in this fertile area, if they could survive.
Surrounding the city of Last Stand and the Pit of Infren is Everyoung. Given its name because no inhabitant of the area is older than 20 years old, the circle of life, death, and rebirth is forever in fast forward. Standing out from the plains that surround it, the greens and golds of the prairie quickly become blacks and grays of a charred landscape spotted with the bright greens of new life breaking through the earth. The flora of the area is tainted with magical energies giving rise to species seen nowhere else. The remains of small stone buildings still stand, at least partially. Ruins of hamlets, still dot the landside, somewhat standing monuments to human stubbornness. While the passage of time doesn’t change in the area, every 10 to 20 years, magma from the pit explodes upward toward the city, never is there any warning. However the city is protected by a force field placed by the gods, deflecting the magma outward over Everyoung, effectively destroying the past decade or so of growth. Humans have continually tried to settle this area because of the magical energies inherent in the land. And their settlements have always been destroyed. Magical energies wait for those who can get in and out when the world erupts.

I like the idea of a place where time goes faster than normal, but this needs more details. Why does time go faster? What god protects the city and why? Will PCs age more quickly in this zone? I think this is a very cool idea if you added some descriptions to tie everything together, but it's not enough right now.
This submission (granted it is 4 years old and from a now inactive member) is rather muddled and confusing. I like the idea though, a city protected sitting in the midsts of a volcanically active area.
This feels like a somewhat coherent brainstorming session, and contains the seed or seeds of a good idea.
