7 More Candlesticks

1-Candlestick of Darkness 

When candles are placed in one of these candlesticks and lit, darkness comes from them instead of light. An enclosed area with curtains drawn or no windows will be rendered very dark by this, which is useful when someone is trying to sleep by day for some reason or is suffering from snow blindness and needs darkness for their eyes to recover. If the candles are blown out, light comes rushing back.

2-Candlestick of Romance 

These candlesticks have a weak love spell cast upon them, to boost the chance of a date going right and strengthen existing love. The more of these there are and the more candles within them that are lit, the stronger the effect, although the spell ceases to work when the candles are blown out.

3-Candlestick of Blindsight 

When a blind person holds one of these, with one or more candles lit within it, the magic of this candlestick enables him or her to see by its light. In daylight this hardly lets the person see at all, but in darkness the person can see well by the flickering candle light, at least until it blows out and has to be relit again with fumbling fingers.

4-Candlestick of Cold

The light from candles that are set in one of these give off great cold. They are used in fridges, freezers, morgues,  forges and as air conditioning, and the more there are of them the stronger the effect, until the candles are blown out or burn down and the heat comes back. One candle cools things pleasantly. Two candles make things as cool as a fridge. More then four candles can make a room positively icy.

5-Candlestick of Magic Boosting

Candles that are lit in this candlestick boost the already existing magical power of a magic user, and make it easier for a Greater Magic Spell to succeed, but there is a danger that a less experienced magic user might, for example, end up summoning something that he or she cannot properly control, like an Elemental or a Greater Demon, possibly costing him or her’s life as a result and/or causing the summoned thing to run riot and cause no end of chaos.

6-Candlestick of Draining

The candles that burn in this sinister candlestick drain the life and mana of those nearby and the effects are cumulative. One of them could take months to have any effect but is a good way to in effect slow poison someone without physically putting any poison into their body. Two cause harm within hours. Three start draining life force and mana within minutes. Four or more will drain life force and mana almost immediately of whoever makes the mistake of getting too close.

7-Candlestick of Authority 

When candles are lit in this candlestick and someone with legitimate power such as a sheriff, politician or monarch is nearby, this boosts their authority even towards those who wish to resist it. One candle just boosts it a little bit, two make what the person says seem to make more sense, three are hard to resist the affect of and four or more coupled with a good orator can quell- or whip up-a full blown riot. Of course, if the candles are blown out or put out, the affect vanishes until they are successfully relit.
