Kamira Senathe

"Daddy, daddy, why arent you moving answer me daddy" Kamira wept as she hugged her fathers cold body blood already congealing where the assassins dagger had been thrust.

Appearance
Tall and lithe in appearance, Kamira has long jet black flowing hair that falls to halfway down her back, and hawkish features. Her eyes don’t seem to be able to stop moving, always roving here and there, staying constantly alert.

Personality
Kamira is a mercenary, and as such she has grown to be a rather cold person in character, she trusts next to no-one, and while she can be quite talkative and well mannered when you get to know her it would be wise not to get on her bad side as she can become quite irate and stressful at times, as some of her previous employers found out while they were teasing her. She picked up her latest employer and pinned him against the wall daring him to annoy her again. After that he left her well and truly alone.

History/Background
Kamira was the only daughter of Koron Senathe, leader of the old empire, which ceased to exist after her fathers assassination by a rival faction who thought the empire would be under better control in their hands. Obviously they where wrong as it has now declined rapidly into a very decrepid nation. Its leaders only caring about the amount of money they had, which was all that they really cared about when they staged the coup to oust their ruler.

After her fathers assassination Kamira was moved to her uncle’s house out of the main city and in the rather secluded mountains, where she grew up. Hidden from all who might seek to cause her harm, as she was the only threat to the current rulers of the empire, with her being the only person who new that her father had been murdered. While the rest of the empire where told he had tragically passed away during the night.

As she grew older she began to understand more about her fathers assassination, and she vowed to seek vengeance for their foul deeds.

At just 16 she went to join the empire’s military, rising through the ranks very quick for a women. Her skill at arms and tactics quickly earning her a reputation as a prodigy. and she was soon promoted to Captain, leading some of the most fearsome troops the empire had to command.

But after a while she grew tired of the monotony of army life, sure the pay was good and you got to know people, but to her it just didn’t feel right anymore and she felt the desire to see more of the world and adventure beckoned.

When she left the army she was allowed to keep her rank as payment for her invaluable services to her country, and she went of selling her formidable skills to the highest bidder, along with her axe this was a lethal combination for any poor soul unfortunate enough to face her on the battlefield.

Now at 29 she is still wandering around, as adventure never ceases to offer its hand. While at the same time she is still creating a plan to remove those scumbags from power who did so to her father. One by one, and she would make sure that they saw her face before she buried her axe deep in the victims skull.

Special Equipment
Kamira doesn’t own any special equipment as such, the only items of value she carries are her captains army jacket with her official insignia on it and her axe affectionately named Skullsplitter.

Roleplaying Notes
Kamira is usually a very quite person, but when engaged in conversation she is quite open and straightforward, always offering her opinion. Although she can become quite cold and dispassionate towards some people who act hostile towards her.

Plot Hooks
1-Kamira is on the hunt for revenge, and she will do anything to avenge her fathers murder, going to any lengths to see them killed and if that means getting some hired help, then so be it.

She is looking to kidnap the last killer who remains alive, but she can’t seem to get close to him at all without being put in considerable danger, as he knows that she is the one systematically killing off the leaders of the coup, and has his body guards with him for the most part of the day, the only time he isn’t surrounded is either when he is asleep, or when he goes out, inthe latter case he will only have 3 of his guards with him. The guards at the front of his mansion have been ordered to kill her on sight if she trys to show up, and he is also offering a large bounty for her capture.

This is were the PC’s come in, she needs one of them to infiltrate his household or gain an audience with him etc, anything possible so she can smuggle him out of the castle without being discovered. She knows how they can escape with him out of his mansion through one of the ,any secret passageways below the house constructed by its previous owners during the great war in order to evade capture.

The only thing then standing in the way of these guys is his 4 bodyguards who are in the chamber with him 24 hours a day.

When, and indeed if they are successful in getting him out of his mansion alive and returning him to her the characters will receive a large bounty of 500gc (or the equivalent of, depending on which game system you are using, gc being the most common) and thanked greatly by her, saying that if they ever need a bit of help or in a tight spot to get in touch with her, thus giving them a valuable ally.

2-Kamira’s temper has upset her latest employer very deeply and he was left feeling sore and unable to stop his men from laughing at him, or at the least sniggering every time he walked into the room.

He is on the lookout to find someone who is willing to exact revenge upon her for his bad experience. He wants her killed and he wants it done quietly, so that no-one will know she even disappeared, at least not for a while.

Getting hold of her should be made tough, and killing her even tougher, her ex-employer advises them to use caution and if possible use ranged weapons, or even magic if they can get it. After all; plenty of people want mercenaries dead, especially those they find out about.

Okay, she is one dimensional. She wants revenge. What else?
How does her enemy get anything done, stuck in a chamber 24 hours/day?

It also requires a spellcheck. You might want to read this sub out loud to yourself - there are some long run-on sentences here.

While traveling trough farm land the PCs come upon a merchant sitting on a wrecked wagon without a mule attached to it, hid face burrowed in his hands. He explains that he was robbed by petty goblins, unable to defend himself he had retreated. He asks the PCs to help him retrieve the mule before the goblins roast it, as a reward they may keep his goods. How hard can it be?
