There is a small village deep in the mountains of Japan controlled by a small group of samurai under the leadership of Moritsugu Katsumoto. Located just a few miles away is the lair of one of these samurai. A cowardly man known as Satoshi Nakatomi, lives inside with his band of rebels known as the Nakatomi Enclave.

Katsumoto has barely any respect for this warrior due to his habit of hunkering down inside Iron Mountain at the sign of any enemy forces. Iron Mountain is the name of his underground base that he built to house his group of people. Satoshi will occasionally drop by the village to hang with the locals there.

There are two main entry points into Iron Mountain. The first one is the Main Entrance which is secured by two solid steel blast doors that can be closed and locked at a moments notice. The second one is a secure train station that is used to receive hardware and supplies into the bunker complex. The station can also be secured with blast doors too.

Hidden ventilation shafts circulate the air in the underground bunker complex and can be sealed for safety purposes. Laser nets prevent people from trying to use them to gain access to the bunker. Power comes from three different sources; wind, solar, and hydro.

The Emperor knows about Iron Mountain as it was originally a fallback location when his palace is attacked. However, since the samurai started rebelling, Satoshi has restricted access to the mountain. Since then, he has been fortifying the place and expanding it to become an underground village.

There is one person from the Imperial forces that has been allowed inside Iron Mountain. This man is known as Nathan Algren and he knows quite a bit of the inside. But because of this, he knows that trying to attack the place is a fools errand. Iron Mountain has been designed to resist even the combined might of the entire Imperial Army.

Even if you were to get inside, there are additional blast doors that divide the bunker into several sections and those can be closed to contain any intruders. Furthermore there are many automated traps that can be activated to clear out entire squads of people in a short fashion. These systems were only activated once.

It was when someone sent a group of ninja to the village to kill Katsumoto. Another group was sent to Iron Mountain to eliminate Satoshi as well. However once the alarms were activated, the blast doors sealed them inside the storage areas and the automated turret defense system took care of them. It is the most secure location in the country.

"You seriously thought that you could raid the Iron Mountain!?! What a fool you are Omora! Yeah, we know it was you who sent those ninja to us and the village nearby. We have eyes and ears everywhere. If you ever try to pull something like this again, we will retaliate with something that can destroy an entire city!

Signed, Satoshi Nakatomi, Lord of the Nakatomi Enclave." ~Message delivered to Omora.

The Nakatomi Command and Control Center is located in the center of Iron Mountain and is what oversees all of the Nakatomi Enclave operations in Japan. This facility has a direct hotline to a sister facility inside a volcano in an undisclosed location. Inside that facility is an experimental weapon system that can vaporize an entire city, however it is a very dangerous system that would render the target location uninhabitable for decades. To activate the system, you need two people to turn special keys at the same time. And that is only after a series of encoded orders is authenticated. The weapon system is codenamed MANHATTAN.
