1-Swordstick

On the outside a walking stick, it has a long sharp blade inside it that can be withdrawn with ease, and can be openly carried in areas where swords and other such weapons are banned by law.

2-Sturdy Stick

On the outside a walking stick, it has a thin but sturdy iron rod inside it, enabling it to hit like a rod of metal and to parry a sword without breaking.

3-Police Lathi

A  five foot long stick with a metal tip, it's a police weapon for dealing with demonstrators.

4-Gold Stick of Office

It's a ceremonial sceptre for those of very high rank indeed, and would most likely bend if you used it to hit someone in the head with it. But it might well be enchanted (see 30 Sceptres for ideas.

5-Magic Draining Stick

If an unwanted spell is cast at the owner of this, it pulls the magic harmlessly into itself if the owner makes a successful Will roll.

6-Baliff's Baton

It is legally owned only by bailiffs, both for self defence and to serve as a means of identification.

7-Bonkster

On a critical hit to the head, this casts a spell of Bonk that reacts when the targeted one thinks something nasty and keeps him or her docile, sweet and unable to carry out the nasty thoughts and it lasts for a week.

8-Commander's Stick

It is a Field Marshal's baton, most likely picked up from a battlefield or looted from someone's house. Perhaps the military police are looking long and hard for it and whoever has it.

9-Life Draining Stick

Every combat round, in stats terms it pulls 2D6 of hit points from your foe on a successful hit. It was made for a physically weak person who wanted to be a warrior.

10-Portal Carving Stick

In the hands of a well trained mage it can be used to *carve* a portal in the air that lasts for thirty seconds, but one must make a successful Will check to go where you want to go with it, otherwise you end up somewhere at best totally different to where you wanted to go and at worst totally incompatable with life.

11-Glowstick

It glows when a simple Light spell is cast upon it, and is used for providing light to miners where a candle might ignite gasses found in the mine.

12-Teacher's Cane

It is what it is, a teacher's cane used for punishing naughty school children or used in certain brothels on clients who like that sort of thing.

13-BindStick

A person who is blind can carry this magical stick and see through the crystal on the top of it like it is a single large eye.

14-Spear Stick

On the outside a walking stick, it has a narrow bladed spear inside it that can be withdrawn with ease, and can be openly carried in areas where swords and other such weapons are banned by law.

15-Cowardly Club

A magical weapon that in stats terms does double damage when it hits a living being, it has a great fear of the Undead to the point that it jerks back to avoid hitting them and shudders with fear in the hand of it's owner when facing the Undead.

16-Stick of Rock

Apart from the handle to hold it without your hand getting sticky this is a five foot long stick of rock candy. It'll break in a fight and it can't channel magic without melting but it tastes very good and lasts a long time.

17-Stick full of drugs

Like the Stick-Canteen it's hollow inside. Unlike the Stick Canteen it's top looks like a normal bit of stick until unscrewed, and it's full of the illegal drug of your choice and is used for drug smuggling.

18-Extending stick.

With a flick of the wrist and a sharp twist to hold it in place, a three foot stick becomes a six foot quarterstaff.

19-Levitation Stick

Hold it in both hands and say "Lift Me" and it lifts you. To stop the magic say "Put me down."

20-Doggie Throwstick

When thrown near a dog, even one trying to eat the stick's owner, the dog runs after the stick and settles down to play with it and chew on it.

21-Gun Stick (one shot.)

On the outside a walking stick, it has a concealed one-shot derringer inside it that can kill at close range or break a limb of the person or animal that it is fired at. It takes a long time to reload, however. The trigger is hidden within the handle of the stick.

22-Hunting Stick

It's used for hunting small birds and small animals, to stun or kill them on a successful throw.

23-Human Throwstick

When thrown, everyone in sight except the thrower must make a Will roll. A failed Will Roll will send the person or person running after the stick. If two or more people go after the stick, they end up in a fist fight for it. It was developed at East Point for use on the battlefield. Big Bads tend to have a strong will and so can normally avoid falling under it's thrall, but their minions are often weaker willed. Those with no Will at all, such as lesser Zombies, will always fall prey to the stick's power.

24-Stick-Stake

To living beings it is just a sturdy five foot staff with a sharpened tip, but it was enchanted by an Order of monks dedicated to fighting the Undead so that it counts as a magical weapon, does double damage in stats terms, and on a critical hit can kill any Undead below the level of a Liche outright, including Vampires.

25-Magic Swordstick

On the outside a walking stick, it has a long sharp blade inside it that can be withdrawn with ease, and can be openly carried in areas where swords and other such weapons are banned by law. The blade has a weak magic spell upon it that makes it count as a +1 sword in stats terms and can harm those who can only be harmed by magical weapons.

26-Stick-Canteen

It's hollow and full of drinkable water, with a screwable cap at the top, and it's five feet long and two inches wide and a useful item to have in a desert.

27-Fire Stick

It contains a Fire Spell and was meant to be a potent Wand of Fire, but a word was said wrong in the casting of the magics used to make it, so the first time it is used it bursts into flame all along it's length and quickly burns into ashes.

28-Finding Stick

Give it the true name of someone or something, and it will pull in the hand and point out where the thing or person is.

29-Fear Stick

It's a stick version of The Sword of Fear with the same advantages and disadvantages of that weapon.

30-Jester's Staff

The owner of this is assumed to be a Jester, and has a chance of getting into noble halls and other such places as an entertainer, but as assassins and thieves have taken advantage of this, someone carrying this can be investigated by the author ties to see if he or she is properly funny or not. The law takes a dim view of non jesters carrying one of these.
