1-King Giraffe

King Giraffe has teams of journalists, spies, and spies undercover as journalists feeding back information on anything of interest and in particular anything threatening in other countries, through a system known as “The Long Neck.” Because of this he can be quick to take action to keep both himself and his kingdom safe from attack. He also tends to take a very long view of events, and thinks himself to be head and shoulders above other monarchs.

2-King Vulture

King Vulture will cause no trouble to other countries as long as they are doing well, but as soon as they are doing badly economically, he tries to make things worse for them by offering them loans at high rates of interest. And should they get into civil war, he waits until things have got very bad for them and then peels off parts of their lands. Instead of ethnic cleansing he points out that life under his rule is better then being in a war torn country , and grants citizenship to the people in the lands that he peels off. He makes sure his country’s dead have proper funeral rites and there are persistent rumours that he has an unhealthy interest in necromancy.

3-King Hippo

King Hippo lives in a country with several rivers running through it. His people have plenty of agricultural land that is properly managed, an efficient brown- water navy, and both the King and his people are well known to be very bad tempered and xenophobic towards strangers from other lands, often chasing them away and even murdering them if they don’t run away fast enough.

4-King Zebra

Wearing royal robes of black and white, which has been compared by some to a convict uniform, the fiery, hot tempered King Zebra has vowed that “Nobody shall ever ride me “ meaning that he considers himself to be fiercely independent. He will not extradite any of his subjects to face trial in foreign courts, stays firmly away from foreign alliances, and whilst he is happy to allow foreign trade it is strictly on his terms.

5-King Stork

King Stork has seven legitimate children, five sons and two daughters, and is rumoured to have a great many illegitimate children to the point that jokes are told about it and his nickname is the “Father of his country.” What his Queen thinks about the rumours is unrecorded. Certainly there are no risks of his royal line going extinct anytime soon.

6-King Elephant

It is rumoured that King Elephant never forgets anything good or bad that is done to either himself, his subjects or his country. He wears at ceremonial occasions a crown that has two tusks of ivory hanging down from it that King Poacher would love to get his thieving hands on. He will aggressively defend his country’s borders with formidable armed forces, and even warrior kings hesitate to get into a war with him.

7-King Cape Buffalo

King Cape Buffalo is a very pushy individual who won’t take no for an answer and can be very dangerous when provoked. He is not afraid to use force to get his way, and makes frequent trips through his kingdom to make sure that all is well. King Crocodile hates him and has tried to have him assassinated more than once.

And as a bonus

8-King Flamingo

King Flamingo’s castle is on an island within an acid lake that other Kings are unable to lay siege to because of the danger. He wears pink robes that many think are more fit for a Queen then a King, and there are untrue rumours that he is gay because of it, which he counters by pointing to his brood of royal children.
