Materians- Mages' Orbs

The merchant grinned 'Dear sir, I noticed you had your eye on that charm. Might I interest you in a little bit of its history? Of course I would. I will have you know, that charm has seen its way through many an adventure, and saved the lives of many of the adventurers therein. Legend tells that it was crafted centuries ago by Yurid Norcral, the greated Dwarven runesmith to ever live. Later it was said to have been enchanted by ancient Elven magics which have since been lost to the ages. Quite a rare find.'

“ A cave with weapons sunken into the walls, blades sticking out of the floor and ceiling, and so on. Possibly, any weapon used in it could be torn out of the hand and sink into the stone.”
CaptainPenguin
“ When the campfires grow dim, stories are told. Stories of lost cities, great heroes and legends of old. One of these is the story of Knurlheim. Once the proud capital of the Dwarfs, now a ruin- abandoned long ago. Filled with vast riches and treasure. It's secrets forgotten with the decline of the Dwarfs, long ago. No one knows is certain if it ever exsisted at all.”
Michael Jotne Slayer
“ You come upon a ruined building in the back section of a city park (or other out of the way area of the city). The ruins are fairly overgrown. All that is really standing is a doorway and its frame. If you pass through the opened door, you travel to a different world. If the door closes, there may not be a doorway back to get you back.”
