The Elgr of Guardwoad Forest
By: Pieh

The Hunter, with his bow nocked, moved quietly through the underbrush. Not quietly enough. The Elgr spotted him; he had no idea what he was looking at: It was an eight foot tall Elk standing upright, and not only was it standing… it was… dancing? Quickly twirling with ribbons streaming from its antlers, it was coming closer…

Then is struck him, right through the chest with its massive set of antlers. He was gored in several places with no chance of surviving… "Another fool," thought the Elgr

Full Description
These beings stand a full eight feet tall and have a massive set of antlers upon their elk-like heads. Their bodies are covered in short hair that ranged in color from greyish-white to dark red. They have elongated fingers and hands which are more suited toward wielding a paintbrush or instrument than any weapon.

The Elgr live deep in the Guardwoad Forest where they practice the arts of dancing, painting detailed landscapes and antler jousting.

Additional Information

The Elgr are a secluded race of fey creatures known for protecting the Guardwoad Forest from hunters and other unwanted visitors to the border of the fey-kingdom.

Update: This has been in work and untouched for 2 years. Time to toss it out as a stub and maybe make something featuring it. If you have any idea for expanding what I have, let me know and I'll add you as a collab.

Perhaps expanding the sub to cover a bit about their origins and if they arose through breeding with the fey using or some type of a wild creature they domesticated and changed through magic.

Perhaps giving their paintings some kind of mystical properties could help, and detailing how they fit in with the fey culture as a whole?

A man is taken in for a crime years ago. Any who ask or willing to listen, he tells a tale of how he ended up in such a position. So far fetched is the story that many believe it to be false. Perhaps the adventurer who came to town would like to listen to the man's tale?
