New Herbia

By:

New Herbia is a new expanding town founded by a two adventurers who accidently destroyed the town that used to be there. Now it is larger and more popular than ever…

Not far from the OgreSalt Ocean’s coastline there stood a small village named Erbia. Erbia was frequented by aquatic humanoids and basically anything else you could imagine that would visit a small town for shelter and food.

Two adventurers, one was a Humanoid Lizard whos mother was a Copper Dragon (Name: Siren) and the other was an Elf whos father was a Brass Dragon (Name: Tharivol) had been coming to this town for about 2-3 years now and had become quite fond of it. One day as Siren and Tharivol were on there way to Erbia an Ocean Giant gone mad was climbing out of the water and heading towards the town. Siren and Tharivol fought with the Giant. Tharivol was knocked unconsious near the end of the fight. Siren managed to slay the Giant but unfortunately its body fell onto the little town and destroyed it and everyone who had not mangaged to flee.

On this day Siren and Tharivol vowed to rebuild it… And they made good on the promise (except that due to communication error the city is now called New Herbia).

Currently the town has a Temple of Healing that is ran by Siren, a WeaponShop run by three random dwarves, a Magic Shop that is run by a strange six-armed pale-skinned humanoid who never speaks, a Orphanage run by charismatic female elves (Tharivols idea), two Inns (one run by a shapeshifter and the other by a centaur), a Collesium run by an Ogre with a monacle, a AllyWay labelled caution in quite a few languages and another Allyway where an assassin sell his poisons and drugs.

There is quite an array of non-humans running around in this village. You might want to consider toning down the non-humans and turning this into a mythical place that may or may not really exist...just some thoughts.

I don't know I can imagine a lot.

Two adventurers, one was a Humanoid Lizard whos mother was a Copper Dragon (Name: Siren) and the other was an Elf whos father was a Brass Dragon (Name: Tharivol) had been coming to this town for about 2-3 years now and had become quite fond of it. These kind of 'dragon' facts only mean stuff to hardcore DnD players. I am not sure it would mean anything good.

One day as Siren and Tharivol were on their way to Erbia an Ocean Giant gone mad MAYBE HE WAS JUST LOOKING FOR FOOD AND SHELTER? was climbing out of the water and heading towards the town. Siren and Tharivol fought with the Giant. Tharivol was knocked unconsious near the end of the fight POINT BEING THAT EVERYTHING AFTER THAT POINT WAS SIREN'S FAULT? . Siren managed to slay the Giant but unfortunately its body fell onto the little town and destroyed it SERIOUSLY HOW BIG WAS THIS GIANT OR HOW SMALL WAS THIS VILLAGE. and everyone who had not mangaged to flee IS THIS STORY REALLY ABOUT KATRINA? STOP BLAMING THE VICTIMS.

On this day Siren and Tharivol vowed to rebuild it… WHAT DID THEY DO WITH THE GIANTS BODY?!? And they made good on the promise (except that due to communication WITH WHOM error the city is now called New Herbia) IS THIS ONE OF THE PHILOSOPHICAL HYPOTHETICALS, LIKE IF YOU REPLACE EVERY BOARD OF THESUS'S SHIP IS IT STILL THESUS'S SHIP?

Currently the town has a Temple of Healing that is ran by Siren, a WeaponShop run by three random dwarves THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A RANDOM DWARF! EVERY DWARF IS EXACTLY WHERE HE OR SHE SHOULD BE AND IF NOT THEY ARE LOST IN A VERY DELIBERATE AND NON-RANDOM MANNER!!!!!, a Magic Shop that is run by a strange six-armed pale-skinned humanoid who never speaks WHAT IS SO STRANGE ABOUT HER?, a Orphanage run by charismatic female elves (Tharivols idea SO THARIVOIS HAS SOME SORT OF NO FATTIES/CHARM SCHOOL POLICY FOR HIS EMPLOYEES. I OWE YOU AN APOLOGY. THAT IS SO STEROTYPICL FOR A BRASS DRAGON'S BASTARD ), two Inns (one run by a shapeshifter and the other by a centaur HOW DO WE KNOW WHICH IS WHICH?), a Collesium run by an Ogre with a monacle JUST A THOUGHT MOST COLLESIUMS, OR STADIUMS HAVE MORE THAN ONE RUNNER AT A TIME. THEY CALL IT A RACE. PROPS THOUGH IT IS HARD TO RUN WITH A MONACLE, a AllyWay labelled caution in quite a few languages and another Allyway where an assassin sell his poisons and drugs ANOTHER PHILOSOPHICAL PUZZLE! IS THE GUY THAT SELLS THE POISON THE ASSASSIN OR THE GUY THE DELIVERS THE POISON?.

Kinda looks like it was cranked out on a random generator. How does that one paragraph of history impact this village, in any way?

It is said that though the crown has always been passed through inheritance, no man may rule without the approval of the Archmage and the Guildmaster. (Interpretation I leave to interested parties.
