Ketong Shalhol

A childlike cat burglar who catches her victims unaware.

Special Equipment:

A skintight black catsuit coated with a slippery substance.

Appearance:

Though she is actually close to 20, Shalhol appears to be about 10 years old. She has long, glossy black hair and sky blue eyes. Snaky blue tatoos criss-cross her body. She usually wears a loose, tank-top-like garment and loose gray pants with flip-flop sandals. When on jobs, she wears the above-mentioned catsuit to slip through small spaces. Shalhol often surprises people with her adult manner and hates being treated like an ignorant child.

Background:

A child of the infamous Ketong thieves family, Shalhol was born with a strange disease which caused her mind to mature but never her body past the age of ten. The Ketongs saw what a boon this was in their business and put her immediately to work. She specializes in cat burglary by assignment under pay from wealthy clients.

I can see her being in situations where she needs to act like a child and resents every minute of it. It would be neat to find a situation where she put herself in the position where she was hired by the players as a guide for some kind of plot against the players. The whole time she would have snide remarks that would slip past her act and the occasional demeaning look. Just enough to confuse the players and make them uncomfortable dealing with her. Then later the truth about her may come up in a surprising way.Will have to think about that one. I like her and the idea of her disease! Especially like it because it is a great idea that can be used in any number of circumstances, not necessarily just with this character.

I like this one. Seeing Kid = Empty Wallet. Needs a few more quirks though. Can never have enough of them. That's what we always say to our hat.

Look, if we try long enough, we will find that many a word means something vulgar in some other language, present or past.

For example, in Polish, 'sukat' means 'to search', if I am correct. But the very same word means 'to f**k' in Czech or Slovak. So, iamgine a few Czech tourists entering a polish church during the mass and hear the phrase "We search for you, mother of the Lord". I guess they could not help it and HAD to burst out laughing.

Another example: The turkis word for 'Rose' means 'Whore' in German. Poor girls named Rose I guess.

So I gues, if I name a character Ponglitlaxi, some Aztec will mail me informing me that it means 'Spoogy Jaguar' or 'Hand-cuffed Senate Member with a Condom on his Head"
So it is pointless to point out such bu!!$h!+

A good idea, although you might of already heard of it from a T.V show. I think you know of it, its called batman. One of his enemies was a 30 year old women who had a disease that made her look like a 10 year old. She starred on a popular T.V show, but then she tried to act on stage(hamlet)and was fired. She then turned to a life of crime. Tragic, no?

Funny, the cat suit also reminds me of something I saw on Batman. :P Other than that I like it though. One of my favorite stolen charaters was a succubus disguised as an 11 year old girl, and you'd be amazed how effective that was.
