Hot Wheels of Speed


After nearly killing himself with the first set of Hot Wheels, Bligard Wirecraft, attempted to improve the design and add some safety. Again the device almost killed him.

Bligard was unable to add more speed settings but was able to increase the speed of the wheels to 120 MPH (176 feet per sec). The flame tail that is produced from the back wheels increased to 50 foot long by 3 foot high. Control of the cart is the same as before (See Hot Wheels) except all checks are at a 5 disadvantage. What safety was installed was the form of a Telekinetic avoidance system. The cart will not run into any objects (trees, buildings, pedestrian, etc). When the cart is about to run into an object it will smoothly, automatically, and randomly turn the cart out of the way, at no check. Though this is a great safety device it will not help you or your passengers if you go off a cliff, river or being launched into the air. All damages are as before except they are doubled and tripled for critical failures.

The first one was cute. The second one is not. It sounds like a comedy item that the GM throws in to put levity in their games.
