The Tonrgum Shaman, Guruk Fisov of Gaapsu and his six bactrian camels usually made their pilgrimage south and west from Ulan Bator, capital of Mongolia, to the Gobi desert and the desolate Ömnögovi Province and Züüngar, once a year.
There, alone in the denuded wastes, Guruk Fisov enacted his tribal rituals and searched for that which his great grandfather had always claimed existed, while his camels would graze and drink the snow to maintain their fluid levels.
