Note: This submission will contain links to submissions that aren't ready yet. So if something is not explained fully/in enough depth there will probably be a link for it that will be updated and finished at a later date.
The reason I'm uploading these now is so that I have a copy of everything online. I will update as I go. Please hold from commenting until the submission is finished.
Major Balthazar Langdon.
A giant of a man, standing tall at 6'1" and built like a brick shithouse. His face dominated by scars, a particularly nasty one adorning his left cheek. Serving as a constant reminder of his failure in Afghanistan.
His hair is kept short, almost completely shaved for practical reasons. People fight dirty, if you can avoid giving them an opportunity, do so. The eyes are what unnerve most people, friends as well as foes. They are a clear radiant blue, almost sparkling.
Usually dressed in his officers uniform, and green beret. At his side he carries the standard issue Beretta M9.
Early life.
Born in 1982 to parents; Albert and Stacey Langdon, a bricklayer and a seamstress. Balthazar grew up in Jamestown, North Dakota. Life wasn't always easy but he'd managed. Somehow.

I say give him a gun and a list of names. Or Love in the Time of PTSD. Give him absolutely horrific traffic accident. Take away an arm. Give him a mortgage and a house full of garbage.
Or.
Give him redemption in a sundress and a bonnet. Give him a peace on a long, solo fishing trip where he camps on a island and something unbelievable happens. Let him stop a crime in progress, to win back his honor. Let a child teach him something.

Perhaps him coming home, having served for 9, possibly 10, years. His struggle with life on civvy street, diagnosis with PTSD.
I can't remember where I was going with this one. Perhaps with a few more ideas he can be rescued and made into a proper sub.
