Mexico Megacity
During the great war almost every nation was torn to pieces by the horrors of war, and mankind unleashed unimaginable horrors upon each other. But at the time the nation of Mexico was considered a failed nation state, and somehow, amidst the squabbles, very little happened to it.
Over 400 years later, Mexico Megacity is a dystopian metropolis with myriad districts and a rigid border defense system. It is the world's largest city, and the most important high technology enclave in the world.
Mexico Megacity, called only Megacity by its citizens, is a vast and sprawling collection of futuristic buildings and ramshackle shantytowns. The various districts will be described under, starting with the most central district and spiralling outwards.
Each district has its own rulers, and these rulers convene to form the city council. The first rulers of Megacity was three drug cartels - La Sinaloa, the Knights Templar and Los Zetas. These three cartels are called the old clans, and are still important in the city politics and underground. Because drug trade is still outlawed... Some say for economic reasons.
