A few quick notes:

Gygaxian equipment has been made by Wights in Understone, deep in the Gygaxian Gyre and represents their best level of non-legendary equipment. Making it takes a great deal of time and effort, and each set cannot be made without the express consent and even assistance from the Dungeon Core itself, making these rare. Should this gear be lost to heroes, the wights will make serious attempts to recover the gear and murder the people who took it. Equipping and using Gygaxian Gear is possible, but there are going to be issues. The stuff was made by wights, in a dungeon, for the purpose of fighting humans, and then by extension, elves, dwarves, and halfings, pink skins. Handling Gygaxian weapons is unpleasant and wearing Gygaxian armor is deeply and profoundly unsettling.

Gygaxian Armor

Consisting of a cuirass, pauldrons, and hip-protecting faulding, Gygaxian armor is made of high grade tarasceen steel annealed together in overlapping bands. While technically banded armor, or lamellar armor, it gives the same level of protection as full field plate armor. It is decorated with bands of dragonbrass, and painted with a lacquer made of powdered kaathire, or dungeon garnet. This gives it a blood-red color over the brass and dark tarasceen metal. This is a highly sought after suit of armor as it has three potent effects. Its most obvious benefit is that it grants major resistance to status effects, so Gygaxian warriors wearing this cannot be confused, charmed, blinded, polymorphed, slept, frightened, or otherwise hindered. The second benefit is a slow but steady regeneration of health while it is worn. A mortally wounded wight can rest in their armor and in time make a full recovery, so long as they are stripped. The third and least obvious effect is that warriors can push further and go deeper into their power, functionally gaining additional feats or power attacks that they wouldn't normally have access to at their level or experience. This isn't magically suiting up and going from a mushroom farming wight boy to a whirling vortex of blades and blood, but rather a warrior finding that while in the armor they have the confidence and endurance to use greater combat mobility, or full follow through on their power attacks.

Gygaxian Gauntlets

Made in the same materials and manner as the armor, Gygaxian gauntlets have two abilities, one cool and the other frightening. The first is that a warrior with the gauntlets on can use two weapons with no penalty, and accordingly, can double their number of attacks. The second and more terrifying power is that the damage roll made while wearing the gauntlets is open ended. Every die that comes up max gets rolled again, and the damage added. There is not a limit to how many die can be rerolled with this power.

Gygaxian Helm

The Gygaxian Helm is an attached visor helmet, with a flaring guard that covers the neck, and has a mask that can be removed or locked in place. The helm has a centerline ridge decorated with teeth and claws like a Roman officer's crest, and the mask was styled in the likeness of a snarling beast, though obviously the vast majority were made in the likeness of the Terrasque. The helmet provides excellent protection, and prevents the wearer from being influenced with mind controlling magic, nor can they be affected by any sort of telepathy, mind linking, or the like.

Gygaxian Sword

The Gygaxian Sword is a hand and a half sword, or bastard sword. It is made of tarasceen steel and inset with a kaathire the size of a bird's egg and is potently enchanted. The Sword is a +5/+8 vs humans vorpal blade, and each swing has a large chance of removing a limb. While certainly useful for decapitating foes of the dungeon, wights wielding these rare blades are more prone to disabling their foes and taking them captive. The wights always have a use for fresh meat, be it slavery, recruitment by the dungeon, or just stocking the larder, as it were.

Gygaxian Bow

The rare Gygaxian bow is made of laminated bone and dungeonwood, bound in dragonbrass, and strung with the thews of some great and unknowable beast, some claiming it is made with terrasque gut. The bow requires great strength to use, and so long as tarasceen arrows or other magical arrows are used, the bow lets the archer ignore all the mundane armor on a target, shooting through regular plate armor like a thin shirt. Magical armors only use their magical bonuses, though dexterity, cover, and evasion bonuses of the target are not negated by the bow.

Gygaxian Shield

Unlike the Gygaxian Escutcheon, the Gygaxian Shield is a full sized shield used by Wight knights, paladins, and lords. It has impressive stats for protection, but it grants the bearer the ability to haste themselves in battle, to offset the weight and mobility penalties of weight and armor. The shield also has a chance to deflect or reflect spells cast against it, something that can be quite detrimental to enemy spellcasters.
