1-Prince of Wolves
The Prince of Wolves is the fierce prince of a barbarian tribe and his family has not sat on the throne for long enough for any hereditary diseases to creep into his bloodline. He is strong, handsome, feared by his foes and loved by his people, and he likes to hang around with the ordinary soldiers on campaign. Once a sick soldier stumbled into him, but instead of punishing him or having him executed for impertinence, he had his own royal doctors nurse th3 sick soldier back to health and fitness. He understands the rules of power and will be a very effective king one day, but he does not look forward to it as he loves his father.
2-Prince of XL Bullies
The Prince of XL Bullies is a fierce warrior prince who is a threat to both his neighbours and his own people. His temper is on a hair trigger, there are dark rumours about his many acts of violence towards his underlings, and many people fear what will happen when his father dies and he becomes the next king. His army, that he takes an important role in ruling, is both large and effective. When he heard a rumour of a new born king in a small village, he sent his soldiers to kill all the babies in the village, which they did.
3-Prince of Bloodhounds
The Prince of Bloodhounds is interested in policing, both in rooting out treason and rebellion against the crown and in catching criminals and the corrupt who bother the people. His popularity is mixed-some people are happy that crime is kept under control and extortion of the mafia type is relatively rare. Others are angry with him because they are not allowed to bear arms and deter criminals themselves, or because their liberties are restricted, or because he pries into their affairs.
4-Prince of Bichon Frizes
The father of the Prince of Bichon Frizes despairs of him, because said Prince would clearly rather have been born as a princess. If the rumours are true the Prince of Bichon Friezes dresses as a princess , with long hair, elegant jewellery and fine dresses of silk, and dislikes the idea of going on military campaigns of conquest, much preferring diplomacy to naked force. The generals do not respect him, and nor does the royal family, but his son has no other legitimate male heirs.
5-Prince of Labradors
The Prince of Labradors is a bouncy, friendly, sea loving I- love- life type of man, who is pleasant with both fellow royals and his subjects alike, and is a popular person with nearly everyone who he meets. He is also good at making alliances with most other kingdoms but fears the activity of the Prince of XL Bullies, who sees him as weak and his kingdom as ripe for conquest. The one great vice of the Prince of Labradors is his liking for eating all manner of fine food rather too often.
6-Prince of Rottweilers
The Prince of Rottweilers has a rather fierce personality and reputation for protecting the borders of his kingdom, allowing only traders and diplomats in and out. Although an authoritarian ruler, he is not as nasty to his subjects as the Prince of XL Bullies, and will be likely to be a good ruler in many ways. He insists on having a large army to deter attacks, and is protective of his people but unforgiving to traitors and political dissidents. His subjects like him but they certainly fear him too.
7-Prince of Bulldogs
The Prince of Bulldogs refuses to let go of problems and has a rather fierce countenance, and behind his back many courtiers dare to whisper that he is hardly the most good looking prince in the world. However, what he loses in handsomeness he makes up for in his personality and in his sheer determination to get things done, and he is likely to make a very good king when his father dies. He gets a lot of petitions from the general public and tries to help them and does his best.
8-Prince of Dalmatians
At the age of twenty, the Prince of Dalmatians came down with chickenpox, and scratched so much that although he did heal, he was covered with scars. Despite this, he is a pleasant fellow who has enough exercise and is of sound mind and popular with both the elites and the common people.
9-Prince of Sausage Dogs
The unfortunate Prince of Sausage Dogs comes from a long and rather inbred line of royals with a habit of marrying their cousins. Fortunately for him his mind is unaffected, but he has problems with a bad back and mild mobility problems, and some courtiers secretly snigger at him behind his back. As he ages his mobility problems will become worse until he ends up in a wheelchair. He wants to choose his own partner, but his family fear the dilution of their royal blood.
10-Prince of Chihuahuas
The Prince of Chihuahuas is only three feet tall, but he is rather fierce and is not afraid to say loudly what he feels about something that he deems important to him. His family are trying to get him engaged to a Dwarven Princess, both because he would be the perfect size for her and because an alliance with the Dwarven Kingdom, which is rich because of it’s gold deposits, would make a lot of economic and political sense.
11-Prince of Pointers
The Prince of Pointers is fearless and is not afraid to point out, even to his father the king, problems with ideas and projects.
His father is a bit irritated with him because of this, but knows that this trait will be a major plus when it comes to ruling the country. The civil service knows that their lives will be much harder when the Pointer becomes the new king one day, and a few of them are plotting to poison him so that his brother the Lapdog will take over instead.
12-Prince of St Bernard’s
The Prince of St Bernard’s lives in a very mountainous country where tourists and traders have died in the past because of avalanches, blizzards and the like, so he has set up a mountain rescue organisation to lower the number of deaths and severe injuries, as that will improve the image of his country abroad and will bring more tourists, which in turn will boost the economy and make the people richer and happier. His father approves of this.
13-Prince of Deerhounds
The Prince is Deerhounds is never happier, it seems, then when he is out hunting deer, stags, bears, and other large and often dangerous beasts. The royal forests are large and well patrolled by rangers, which has caused some hardships for the local people who can no longer get away with poaching or gathering firewood as winter fuel like they used to, and they blame the Prince every time one of them is fined or worse for trespassing.
14-Prince of Great Danes
Seven feet tall, the Prince of Great Danes is handsome and sturdy with a friendly personality, but his family have a hereditary heart defect from inbreeding that means that they rarely survive to their fiftieth year of age, and the royal mausoleum is the largest of it’s kind in the world. Despite this, the Prince puts thoughts of early death to the back of his mind and enjoys himself as much as he possibly can.
15-Prince of Mongrels
There are rumours amongst both the outraged nobles and the common people alike that the Prince of Mongrels is a bastard- in the sense of being of illegitimate birth. However, he is healthy and happy and free of hereditary diseases, and as such is likely to be a very good king when it is his turn to rule the kingdom.
16- Prince of Salukis
The Prince of Salukis lives in a desert kingdom where in much of it, clean fresh water is used as money, and he makes sure that the few safe invasion routes that foreign armies can take are blocked. He is good looking, dresses well, and enjoys hunting the desert antelope that gather near the few rives and lakes in his country.
17-Prince of Greyhounds
The Prince of Greyhounds loves races and racing, be it watching them , betting on them or even taking part himself. Horse racing and the rather dangerous sport of chariot racing both interest him greatly, and his parents fear that his recklessness might lead to him dying in a crash one day and never becoming the king. He is full of energy and often raring to go.
18-Prince of Pitbull Terriers
The Prince of Pitbull Terriers is fierce, unpleasant, unpredictable, is rumoured to be involved in violent crime, and if he were not a member of the royal family would probably be in prison awaiting the gallows and the gibbit cage by now, but his royal status prevents this. He is deeply unpopular and feared, with good reason, by the people.
19-Prince of Staffordshire Bull Terriers
The Prince of Staffordshire Bull Terriers has an undeserved bad reputation because of the attitude of his brother, but unlike his brother he is a very easy going man who only uses or orders violence when grossly provoked. He wishes his brother was not so unpleasant as it is indirectly damaging his own reputation.
20-Prince of Dobermen
The Prince of Dobermen is untrustworthy of others, unpleasant, and very much into making sure that the taxes are properly collected, just like his father. The two have a very close father son relationship and get on very well with each other. It is possible to go abroad from his country legally but it’s not easy to do so.
21-Prince of Snufflehounds
The Prince of Snufflehounds was married off at seventeen to a princess of Airendelle, and he himself comes from a hot country far down south and hates the cold. Every winter his nose blocks up as soon as he lays his head down to sleep, and he is constantly tired and snorting and snuffling as a result, although he is perfectly healthy in the country’s all too short summertime.
22-Prince of Weineramas
The Prince of Weineramas wears cloth of silver when in civilian dress and armour plated with silver when jousting or leading his army in battle. He is athletic, reasonably popular with the people and intelligent, so when he becomes the next king he will likely to be a good ruler.
23-Prince of Whippets
The younger, smaller brother of the Prince of Greyhounds, the Prince of Whippets finds that he gets on very well with him and they share the same interest in watching races and taking part in them. His father is worried, as he fears one day losing both his legitimate sons in some awful pile up on a race track.
24-Prince of Hairless Dogs
The Prince of Hairless Dogs is a warm, friendly, approachable man, but a minor hereditary disease in his family made him lose all his head and body hair at the age of ten, and he wears a wig in public to keep the secret from the public.
25-Prince of Lapdogs
The Prince of Lapdogs is all about having fun and enjoying himself and his father is disappointed in him and rather worried about what will happen after his death. On the other hand, ambitious politicians in the country’s Parliament very much look forward to his rule, as he would happily cede most of his powers to Parliament as long as he is allowed to live in luxury and enjoy himself.
26-Prince of Spaniels
Bouncy, friendly, it is whispered by many of the courtiers behind his back that the Prince of Spaniels is hardly the most intelligent prince around, but he is popular with the nobility and the common people alike, and there are no dark rumours going around about him. He will need good ministers to be a good ruler when his father dies, however.
27-Prince of Mastiffs
When the Prince of Mastiffs gets his proverbial teeth into a problem at the royal court, he shakes it hard and never lets go until the problem is solved one way or another. As such, he will be a good ruler, although there is a plot amongst a few very well connected courtiers to murder him when his father dies and place his brother, the lazy Prince of Lapdogs, upon the throne instead.
28- Prince of Pharaoh Hounds
The Prince of Pharaoh Hounds is a good general, a hunter, a reasonable judge of men, and will be a good ruler in the future, but because of the burial customs of his family and his tomb and it’s treasures being unrobbed by grave robbers and then discovered by archaeologists, he will be remembered only for his tomb.
29-Prince of Scottish Terriers
The Prince of Scottish Terriers is the son of a clan chief and does his best to make his father feel proud of him, be it when he is stealing cattle from other clans or leading the clan army in battle , or when he is holding court and enforcing a harsh justice against captured bandits.
30-Prince of Beggar Dogs
Once the Prince of Beggar Dogs was a powerful tribal chief whose fearsome warriors roamed the plains hunting, feasting, warring and enjoying themselves, but they were beaten in battle by soldiers with superior weapons who also slaughtered their main food sources. Now they are confined to small barren reservations, and he has to humiliatingly beg for food and basic supplies for his people. Once a king in his own right, he has to be content with the title of Prince now.
