Epigrid - The Snail King

A kings hesitation results in this unkind moniker

Epigrid – The Snail king, a diminutive figure upon his throne. He is mockingly called the snail king for his hesitation in the past sea wars of Coastal Molluska, of which his kingdom is the most southern, resulting in his fleets arriving 2 weeks after the surrender of Northern Pulmonata.

Epigrid is hard to move to action as he spends long nights and days deliberating the best course of action and while very wise, he is not quick to rise or brash in any action, even the most minut. A slave to his own intellect.

A small, enchanted chest, 2 feet on a side. It is of some dark wood with fantastical images graved upon it. Worn leather straps act as hinges and a simple toggle keeps it closed. Anything placed within it, with the lid closed, becomes accessible to anyone with one of the other 5 identical chests. Once it is taken out of any one of the 6, the chest is empty again. Perfect for passing messages or small items between widespread groups, such as ships at sea and their ports of call or generals on the field of battle.
