Four days have passed since the explosion. A loud bang shook the lands near and beyond Olaf's Pass. There was a plume of red smoke, reeking of brimstone, and a rain of ash and bits of stone for miles around. Perhaps a volcano erupted? If so, no one knew it was there. Did a slumbering dragon awaken? Who knows? Not I. All I know is someone needs to go out there and clear the pass. No merchant wagons haver arrived since the bang. Undoubetly, the pass is congested with rock an debris f the wagons aren't coming through. We need those supplies. The people of the Southerlands need your help. Will you go forth and at least survey the damage? Maybe bring back some breads and cheeses, at the least? Thank you, young ones. I knew the Southerlands could count on you.

It's your first real adventure. You've been itching to explore the mountains for years now. Tales of Trolls and Orcs only served to excite you more. Now you're on your way to being a hero.
