“ Inspired by Ria Hawk's winged mushroom picture:
The winged mushrooms (Lerreta Meia) are a species of giant insect indigenous to the leafy areas of Udnalor, Kingdom of the Gnomes. Outwardly they appear much the same as ordinary giant mushrooms, and they graze in the bulbous fungal glades. However, this is merely an elaborate camouflage: the insect beneath is a fungivore and prone to fly off when it encounters another creature. Sometimes gnome farmers mistake them for crop mushrooms. They're in for a surprise when they do.”
“ Once a year there is Birthday. On this day everyone celebrates their birthday regardless of the day they were born. In practice anyone born in November or December waits till the following Birthday. It is a combination of your birthday and Christmas,
Birthday tree
The magic version of this is empowered by a god to reward their followers once a year. a present will appear Birthday morning. it will be empowered by how well a member of the household provides service or offerings to the god. They vary in power level at GMs discretion.”
“ The devil's wind. Explains why people become crazy. They are caught up in this wind which steals their sanity which in turn feeds the wind. The wind is a leftover from when the air elementals banded together in a mass army at one point to attack the True Gods. The wind is leftover of their attack route and on the anniversary of the battle the wind sweeps through causing the madness.”
