“ Elven Light Horse - a lithe and small animal well suited to the forest home of the elves. It has semi-cloven hooves, a longer tail, like that common to unicorn illustrations, and always a snow white pelt. Lives inthe forest, able to stand on back legs to crop leaves from the lower branches of trees. Shy and easily frightened, but at peace when around elves.”
“ In a small farming community, the only way to cross a river is to basically pole vault across. A small section of river has a small raft on a string to pull items across but for a person to cross they must use one of the many provided poles. Might be interesting seeing what the players do when they come across it. Villagers do it all the time so are skilled and can do it with ease.”
“ The PCs are walking along the road, when suddenly a bunch of bandits attacks. The player's dismiss it has just a random encounter, when they find an ornate ring on the leader, obviously out of place with the seemingly poor bandits, who could only afford cheap leather and weapons. This ring has a symbol on it, which, if researched, sets the PCs on a quest. And from then on, the players don't look at random encounters the same way...”
