Kryllas Prime

The homeworld of the Krylastys, over 90% of the surface is industrialized in some fashion, if heavy agriculture is counted among the industries. "Wild" nature is only in a few preserves, most of it in arctic regions around the polar caps.

The seas are strongly utilized as well, the seabed littered with harvesting machines on the hunt for minerals. Large fleets permanently farm patches of sea algae, genetically engineered to be more palatable. The Krys’ in turn improve their digestive system with adapted bacterias to process this type of food (and others). They seem to have few underwater colonies, though.

The planet is actually a moon of a much larger Jovian planet, that includes a beautiful system of rings, and a prominent magnetic field.

The system sports several other planets, one of them in a better location than their homeworld, though it didn’t develop any life. Today it is fully transformed, and put to agricultural use. But for some reason, the Krylastys never moved here in large numbers.

Pepperbox Wand

A typical wand with offensive capabilities (magic missiles, fire, fireball, lightning bolt) that was either damaged in combat or made just under par. When the wand is discharged, there is a 1 in 4 chance that it fires an additional 1d6 charges simultaneously or in rapid succession. Wands that shoot fire may incinerate innocents and friendlies, or burn whole buildings and even villages down. Those which shoot fireballs have a considerable radius, and lightning bolts that bounce upon contact with ground and stone can cause catastrophic random collateral damage. Those who have paid large sums for such a device may go seeking a refund, possibly even retribution.
