The Sacred Seven

The precepts of the Triguian faith, passed down from generation to generation. What not to do.

Context: These are the "Ten Commandments" of the Triguian faith, given from Trigu to mankind within the Trigium. While certain parts have be the source of much discussion and disagreement, the majority of these commands are straightforward and unambiguous in nature.

I. There is none above Me, thus you shall worship none other.
II. The name of Trigu is Holy, you shall not misuse it.
III. The marriage covenant is sacred, made before Trigu. Do not dishonor it.
IV. Honor and cherish all life, for it was given of Trigu. The killing of your fellow man without just cause is an abomination to the Highest.
V. Keep your tongue clean from all untruth, for you are to be bearers of the Divine Truth of Trigu.
VI. The theft of your neighbor’s things does not show Trigu’s love to that man. Likewise, keep your mind free from covetousness, for this leads to theft.
VII. Those above you were set there for a reason, obey them in all that does not conflict with My commandments. Your mother and father are first among these.

There are those as rich as kings but dress as peasants and worry not about funding. To visit their true homes one would see wealth of untold value scattered as dirt is in a hut. They know the monetary value of their possessions but they have long lost any true value to their owners. Experience is their currency and their curse. They dispense secrets of the ages as if discussing the weather. Few things have they not experienced so that very little gives them joy. They are the lost ones looking for new life while humoring the mortals around them.
