Have you ever thought of music as magical? With these instruments, it is.
The magical instruments that created the world, long since scattered. Fortunate is the player who finds them, and great is the band that can make them sing again.
A conventional war drum, or is it?
You don't need a pipe or a heavenly voice to draw a crowd with this in your hands.
A collection of legendary guqin (a specific type of Chinese string instrument) from actual history (2nd of my Chinese Lore series)
An ancient Chinese string instrument (guqin being the actual term) adapted to a fantasy setting
Screenery - the images and loops shown on large screens and monitors inside space stations, arcos, and geofronts to counter the feeling of oppression or claustrophobia that can occur in such enclosed locations.
This old artwork is kept rolled up and hidden, as are its brothers and sisters. Why?
A statue with the power to fix your mistakes.
A well-loved and somewhat crudely hand-crafted tribal drum owned by the Tribal Half-Orc, Somnak. It is said that Somnak possessed the ability to call upon the spirit of any creature whose skin was pulled over the drum to aid him and his allies in battle, as well as curse his foes.
You find a dusty violin on a stand in the next room. Through the grime of the years, you can tell that it is of excellent make. Perhaps someone can put it to good use? An instrument is meant to be played, after all...
A painting with a dark history
The Horn of Seven Seals can remove many of one's inate inhibitions, allowing for greater effectiveness in battle. This can come at a hefty price, however.
The most melodic of notes, the most soothing of tunes.
"It would help if I knew how to play the thing, though."
If kindness is the currency
that you most often use;
Then Silverbreath may come one day
to light Good Fortune's fuse.

That Which Kills Without A Touch. The Sorrow of Aler.
A collection of 30 bardic tales you may hear sung in the local tavern or empresses' court, complete with bardic verse excerpts from all 30 tales themselves.
Many of these tales can also be used as quick plug in adventures for Gm's looking for a side quest. (And let the players exploits be turned into the song by a near by bard perhaps?)
Its old and battered exterior hides a subtle, and finicky, magic.
"You shall find my body beneath the steep cliff, where the larch grove grows. Take my skull, and hang it from the old larch tree. And then you shall make of me an instrument: my skull for the box, the tree for the neck, my tail for the strings and bow. Whenever you play it, I shall be with you, for At-Beyi is inseparable."
- The Legend of At-Beyi
Just seeing if I can upload and view a picture from the submission page.
In a certain nation, no-one except the Emperor is allowed to have a name. Therefore, the people give themselves pseudo-names called "callings". Examples of callings: A family is known as the Red Sparrow family. The father is called Swooping Red Sparrow. The wife is Bright Red Sparrow Blue Lizard because she was called Bright Blue Lizard before marriage. Their daughter, until she becomes an adult, is Daughter of Red Sparrow. Their sons are Eldest Son of Red Sparrow and Younger Son of Red Sparrow.
