You could make allmost anything with a rock coming from the sky... A rock fell in my game once and it took ALL magic away :) but it could be superman coming or you could even wipe the place of all life... You can even get subterfuge plots as nations struggle against nation and factions inside a nation for political power over the rock... Go to Comment

All hail to the Random Submissions, without which I would never have found this

I must say that a quite like this - it's a good start-point for a campaign (I won't bother to list all the possibles because that's pretty much been covered in the previous comments)

And now ... the all-important rating

Not particuarly original but a solid, useable idea nonethelese: 3½/5 Go to Comment

Well, I think that the Capn. and MoonHunter happened to read a different version of this than what I am...As it is, it seems quite established, with plot hooks galore, yet not extremely specific to a setting. I like it. 4/5

Remember, long doesn't always mean better, and short doesn't always mean bad. Go to Comment

This could easily be the start to a great campaign. Hints at an greater story than has been revealed thus far, and the genesis of any number of powerful villains who quickly spread out from the scene of the impact to pursue their own plans of conquest or vengeance.

Trapped in a strange world

       By: Dragon Lord

Real world scientists have accidentally opened a tear in the fabric of reality, transporting their laboratory into the game world. Unable to repair and/or refuel their equipment in this (to their minds) primitive world they are now trapped.
