Aww, this was a really hilarious sub, until I got to his farewell comment. Now I feel bad for the kid, he can't have been that old. But on the other hand, his last words showed better penmanship than the whole sub, so he probably could have done a better job if he'd put his mind to it. Despite the magical properties missing, I loved the twist that the anvil wasn't an anvil at all. No apparent typos/grammatical errors, highly creative, I would have given a 5, if it wasn't for the missing section, but for now you get a 4.5. Think of it as an incentive to finishing it. Go to Comment

The PCs are walking along the road, when suddenly a bunch of bandits attacks. The player's dismiss it has just a random encounter, when they find an ornate ring on the leader, obviously out of place with the seemingly poor bandits, who could only afford cheap leather and weapons. This ring has a symbol on it, which, if researched, sets the PCs on a quest. And from then on, the players don't look at random encounters the same way...
