Unattainable Glory
The Sword has returned from long and ancient exile. Can it's glory be kept from falling into the wrong hands?
Over the ancient peninsula, the ocean's waters continue their eternal tidal dance. The people have forgotten the tales of the tower of light that enveloped the warring land so long ago, the tale of the Sword. But Asarth Awrun remebers. Though the small town thinks of Asarth only as a rich philanthropist, but they think wrong. Asarth Awrun is the single survivor of that long ago culture, the dwellers on the peninsula. Asarth is also a lich, and keeps himself cloaked with illusion. He has seen that soon, the flow of magical energy will be right and he will be able to draw back the curtain of water from his ancient homeland and find the Sword of Unattainable Glory.

First an foremost, expand on this. Make a Asarth Awrun character, (Post it in characters). Also, how does he do it? There's a lot to build on, and I mean that in the most positive way.
P.S. Perhaps Asarth Awrun is the soldier who drew the sword
Asarth knows what happens when the sword is drawn, wonder what kind of motives he may have for finding it. If he didn't draw the sword originaly (becoming a lich would be an interesting side effect though) then perhaps he wants the sword to return the destruction done on him. Some kind of revenge thing perhaps?
Little text, but the germ of a big idea. Undead being the sole remainder of a people. A kingdom hidden underwater.
It gets one's mind working.
This is a start and above all it gets me wanting to know more.
