Theodoronus "Theo" messenger
By: MoonHunter

Faster than the wind, this Red Cap Messenger flies (okay, okay, runs - but you get the idea).

Appearance
Theo is a tall thin young man who looks like he will blow way in the wind. Yet he is as strong as the wind and nearly as fast. His dark curly hair, escaping from under his cap, flies behind him while he runs through the town. His heavy booted feet clomping like a horses hooves. His backpack is almost always full, looking like it will spill contents at any moment.

History/Background
Theo is the best Red Cap in the city. All the really important messeges go to this reliable runner who knows the city streets (and its alleys and rooftops) like the back of his hand. He handles all Governor and GuildMaster messages.

Special Equipment
Some exceptionally fine boots that have been well, well, well worn.

Roleplaying Notes
He is extremely friendly. Everyone Knows him. They wave as he runs by, he waves back.

He is athletic and good looking, so all the young girls sigh as he goes by. He likes to flirt with the ladies (old, young, pretty, plain), but it is all in fun as he is “promised” to someone else.

An old lady is often chasing him out of her “courtyard” as he has vaulted a few walls as a short cut.

He asked to be assigned to this foreign city in a foreign land (He is from Excellius on SecondLand) to keep himself and his lover safe. His love is a young Noble Clanswoman whos father does not approve of their match.

Guild of Messengers aka Red Caps By: MoonHunter
Society/ Organizations » Travelers » World Wide

The Guild of Messengers is one of the few guilds/ orders accepted in every civilized and many near civilized lands. The Messengers know only their own special language and script (though they might know how to speak A dozen or so languages, they are prohibited to be literate in any other tongue). They are the tool of civilization, allowing for communication to be passed across the world (and the occasional small item as well).

Red Caps Guild Station By: MoonHunter
Locations » Establishment » Any

Guild Stations are found in almost every town and city. They serve several functions. No matter what the local buildings are like, they have distinctive red doors and a lamp that is always kept burning to its right.

Gnomes are famous for their festive springtime celebrations. Farm villages will often dye their hens eggs bright colors; with gnomish magic, the chicks that hatch from the eggs have the very same colors. The chickens eventually lose their hues, but the stronger the magic, the longer the color stays. In a gnomish village, one can easily spot the village shaman by his flock of gaily colored fowl.
