The Kingmakers

The umbrella sub that will hopefully, Mathom willing, link to all the submissions relating to the campaign that I am planning on running.

 

Campaign Inforation:

System: GURPS

Gamemaster: Myself

Setting: Late Medieval (Short version: Stirrups exist, Esoteric Medicine isn't complete hogwash, no firearms, navigation is not very well developed.

Plot: The Royal Family is all but destroyed when a coordinated assassination attempt starts a succession crisis that threatens the stability of the world. The last surviving heir is still alive, but only a select few- and the assassins who have murdered their family- know this. Will the players be able to restore the rightful Heir to the throne and save the world?

Again, I must say this is the most organized campaign I have seen. Well done!

The heroes have destroyed the minions, plunged through the catacombs and defeated the guardians. They slowly enter the chamber to find the dark mastermind behind the scheme. The mastermind has a request for them, however:
"You must destroy me. To destroy me is to rid the world of a great evil, that is to say, me. But before you can destroy me, you must understand what evil is, what evil must be, why evil must exist."
