Squintz

Squinzerephtoritzpik, aka Squints, is a simple small time scumbag informant who happens to be from a tribe of goblins with a unique body modification tradition…

Appearance
Pointy ears with floppy tips stick out from the sides of a bulbous head best described as onion shaped, the whole of which is covered in wrinkly, mottled forest green skin, sprinkled with warts. A big nose with an enlarged tip rests crookedly about wide, fat, cracked lips covering teeth haphazardly arranged in yellowed and blackening rows.

The most distinctive feature of this head set on top of spindly, swaggering goblin’s body is his eyes. Large and close set, they are permanently fixed in a cross-eyed gaze, something his tribe has trained them for by wearing corrective headgear from infancy. Squints is massively cross-eyed, and bears himself like a the hot stud he thinks he is.

History/Background
Squints didn’t have anything great or tragic make him into the man he is today, he’s simply selfish, greedy and lazy, taking the quick cash over long term investments that require more work.

Need information about where someone is hiding or looking for the black market? Talk to Squints, and if it’s not going to be hard work, or dangerous to him personally, he’ll help you out, for a nominal fee…

Roleplaying Notes
Keep in mind his shallow, self serving attitude and arrogant self worth, but otherwise, he’s about the same level a teenager who thinks he’s important even when he’s not.

THE GNOMES OF UDNALOR: Part I

Upon entering the deep underrealm of Udnalor, one must first pass through the upper halls, which were the residences of the gnomes in days of past glories. Now they have abandoned the fading tapestries to the worms and moles, and an uncanny silence reigns, laid over the oaken tables like the thick layers of dust and humus.

There may be creatures which now inhabit these areas: nests livid with giant maggots, rats and other vermin.

The watchtowers and passageways which lead to the Overground are frequently trodden, however. After all it takes a great many small humanoids to hoist a single giant rabbit corpse back through the fathoms of earth.

The gnomes primarily hunt giant rabbits with bows and arrows tipped with the subterranean poisons concocted by their best alchemists.
