Mesulu monkey

A tool-using monkey of great dexterity.

Full Description

The mesulu monkeys are physically very similar to our Lemurs, though they lack the prehensile tails.  Their fur is generally dark brown and they occasionally have streaks of green deliberately added by the mesulu themselves.

Additional Information

These monkeys are excellent tool users and learn easily by mimicry. Lacking a usable language, they can only transfer this knowledge amongst their troop through mimicry.  They do not construct tools themselves, either using natural tools or stealing them from other races. They are notorious for their thieving abilities and will raid camps for both tools, cloth and food.

Unless cornered they never fight, seeking instead to flee into the forests. They never willing move more then a few feet from a treeline and so camps placed in the center of large clearing are safe from their depredations.

As Companions or Familiars

These monkeys, if carefully tamed, can be very useful assistants.  Their tool-using prowess and above average intelligance allows them to perform tasks as complex as preparing and serving tea.  They have very strong tendancies towards kleptomania and this could be a good or bad thing depending on the individual.

They are also facinated by magic or other oddities - magnets, static charges and the like.

       By: Murometz

Five main ingredients were used to create this noxious, real-world (ridiculously named), chemical compound, featuring sulfur as the main ingredient. The odor was said to be akin to rotting refuse, decomposing carcasses, and fecal matter. "Who-Me?" Was developed during WW II by the OSS to aid the French Resistance against the Germans. The idea being to utterly humiliate and ultimately demoralize the enemy by making them stink of garbage left to rot under a hot sun.

The bizarre experiment did not last long however as "Who-Me?" could not be administered on select targets (controlled), without making everyone in a certain radius, friend, foe, and sprayer alike, stink as well
