Coreen Briannan
By: Dragon Lord

A blind mage with a liking for sound-based magics

Appearance
Human female, age 37. Fairly average appearance except for her eyes, these are blank white orbs of scar tissue that she makes no attempt to hide.

History/Background
Coreen Briannan is a researcher and a wizard. She is also completely blind (the result of a childhood accident) and all attempts to restore her sight have so far failed. This has led her to an almost fanatical interest in sound and sound-based magics. She has written several theses on the nature of sound and has developed a number of quite unique spells that rely on sound for their effect.

Special Equipment
A raven familiar called Morrigan who serves her in much the same manner as a guide dog. He is usually (90% chance) perched on her shoulder.

A little too sparse for my taste. More detail and perhaps an interesting story behind her motivation to become a mage, would help to liven it up a little.

Dragon Lord, I think you have a great concept here, a blind, sonic mage...Add more, re-work, re-format, whatever...this has great potential!

The size and number of knots in hair, tied around neck, or hanging from belt could signify family, importance, worship, guild affiliations. Being able to translate the meaning of the size and placement of knots can give you a a large understanding of who somebody is. May be used in a more barbaric society. Where in cities peoples clothes and crests show who they are, barbarians have no need for this so use knots.
