Chamberpot of Holy Blessings
By: MoonHunter

Nobody calls it a Chamberpot of Holy Blessings. It is just another chamberpot. It is a secret item, nobody actually knows it exists.

Full Item Description
It appears to be a large chamberpot, heavily made. It has an exceptionally thick bottom.

History
Note: Nobody calls it a Chamberpot of Holy Blessings. It is just another chamberpot.

It appears to be a large chamberpot, heavily made. It has an exceptionally thick bottom.  If one is alligned with the Darkness (or your soul is heading there because of your acts), it provides you a serious venerial disease.  If you are not alligned with the Darkness, it will cure said disorders or any issue having to do with bowel or urinary movements.

Why is this an Evil Item you ask?

The Pot was made to be part of an Evil Rite. Incorporated into the thick bottom of the pot is The Holy Symbol of Kriteris. This holy item, which contains bone fragments of the Great Ascended Cleric Kriteris, is a legendary relic. It has great healing powers if touched to the right body parts AND provides additional holy energies to any who believe who wield it. The cultists were going to attack the faith of Kriteris by utilizing the pot ritually. The pot is also enchanted to hide the item’s presence.  But something happened. Anyone who knew where the item was, had a small adventurer accident. Now this great relic is currently lost to time.

Slightly weird, but weird enough to be interesting. Would give it an extra .5 if I could think of any way of using it.

Slight side note: "AND provides additional holy energies to any who believe who wield it." Who wield it?? PC: "I attack the zombie using the chamber pot."

Come on, don't you attack zombies with chamber pots all the time? One question thoug, do you have to kiss it? And if so, where?

3.5 for sheer ingenuity... I would never hink of attacking a religion with a chamberpot... Brillence.

Mostly it is just a plot device. Randomly, it is just a fun tweak. It can cause confusion amongst characters with the right sensory abilities. It would take a good bit of work to figure it out, but I have experienced a couple of players that would eventually do it.

Note this plot line only work IF the players have had some clue or lore about the item in the first place.

Also Pariah, the use of urine in 'Satanic Masses' (and in many magical rites of humiliation and disparagement) is actually part of several of their published works.

The player characters, experienced and somewhat well known, hear rumors and travelers' tales about a distant area being overrun by dragons (or other terrifying monstrosities). The locals have sent them a message, begging for heroic aid. When they investigate, they discover that nothing of the sort is going on. It turns out that a group of thieves wanted them out of the way so that they could rob them (or someone who would normally receive their protection).
