They are beautiful bits of ribbons of the proper width and length for women to add to their hair. This ribbons are quite nice. If she uses them, her hair seems nicer. It is softer, shinier, has more bounce and curl (or is straighter depending on her needs). It will add a simple plus to appearance initially, but the bonus will grow. After a short while, they add a good plus (+3 for a 3d6 range) to the charisma/ appearance of the female who uses them. (Her hair will stay softer, shinier, etc for quite a while even if she does not wear the ribbons with some of the pluses). They will also add to her self confidence and poise.
Unfortunately, the ribbons will start to engender jelousy among the other women who see her. Most of it will be of the catty backstabbing nature. However, someone always “goes to far”: working to actively break up a relationship, manipulating events, lying, and even commiting murder (sometimes the woman, sometimes her love).
History
These are demon enhanced ribbons, probably from a demon posing as a trader or a boyfriend who then left her.

Dalme is one of the various travelling Tinkers plying their trade in the villages along the back roads. One can hear his cart from a arrow shot away, clanking and clinking, his wares: pans, pots, utensils, plow shares, cow bells, and other metal bits, banging against the side of his cart. The rest of his goods are kept inside his house cart (mugs, plates, fabric, ribbon, and other things) along with his anvil and fire bellows. He tells news, shares jokes, and does a bit of trading. He is everything a tinker is expected to be…. and unfortunately much more.
